Descent place to stay if you have an early flight next morning from JRO. we had booked two separate rooms for two couples and they gave us two rooms in an appartment with separate rooms and a common sitting room and kitchen. The rooms and bathrooms were small but clean. Regular minimal breakfast (as everywhere in Tanzania) was provided and the usual dinner course (soup, main dish with rice, beans, potatoes & beef or chicken) was provided (at extra cost). Taxi transfer to airport can be arranged at sight at extra cost.

We stayed one night when arrived at JRO, before flying to Mwanza the next day. We asked for a shuttle from the airport. We waited at the airport for about a half hour & no shuttle ever showed up. We ended up taking a cab to the hotel which cost the same as the shuttle was supposed to. I would recommend not arranging with the hotel and just getting a cab from JRO. The cab company there knows where all the hotels are. Besides that, everything went well at the hotel. The rooms are basic and clean. We felt safe. The woman who runs the establishment is friendly and cooks meals well. We had to wait until about 7 p.m. for dinner though. She had breakfast waiting for us at 6:30 a.m. since we had an early flight to catch. For the price, it was a good place to stay.

Stayed at the Le Parlour 2x overnight before and after our Safari, clean, friendly, Taxi had been organized from the Airport and next day to Arusha from where we started to Ngoro Ngoro & Serengeti and also back. Most importantly, after one week of canned food we had great local „banana with pork and spinach“ and after asking back home the recipe has been sent! Full recommendation.

We arrived in the evening at Kilimanjaro airport and stayed at Le Parlour for one night before beginning our drive to Lushoto. Angela was incredibly nice and made a delicious dinner (local food). Breakfast was also delicious. We stayed in a 2BR apartment which was nicely decorated and comfortable. These are basic apartments (note the price), but clean and as expected. Perfect for a quick overnight and would stay longer. Lots of space for families. It was about a 30 min drive from the airport.

We stayed there for our last night during our 7 days safari. Angela the owner was very carring and made us very delicious dinner and breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable and it is apartments with a few rooms in every apartment so we had each his own shower and bathroom so it was very nice. I recommend staying there becasue of the rooms and the owner who cares for your every wish

We stayed at Le Parlour for tlone night before we had to fly back through the Klimangaro airport. The hospitality was great, the family charming and welcoming, the food great, and the rooms spacious and pleasant. warmly recommended!

A small, family run bed and breakfast near the airport was the perfect way to spend our last night in Tanzania. The location made it easy to fly into JRO from Zanzibar and get back to the airport for our flight the next day. The set up made it very easy to spread out in order to organize and pack our luggage. Each room was stocked with affordable, cold beer. Furthermore, the food was really good. The owners were welcoming and helpful. Additionally, the airport shuttle service was easy. It can be a little tricky to find. Just look for the Chicago Bulls Bar and it is right down the street from that.

I recently visited the Boma la Ngombe area with my son to visit a family living nearby. Our stay at Le Parlour was pleasant, restful, comfortable and delightful. And the price is excellent. There are no worries about safety or security as this is a very peaceful and welcoming area. The Le Parlour property is located on a very quiet street and is enclosed in a high wall with a locked gate to insure no intruders. Angela went way above and beyond expectations in making our stay as easy as possible and to accommodate our crazy schedule. Her breakfasts were out of this world... don't miss them. Angela is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I hope to visit her again one day.
