Hotel Bologna Fiera4.0 out of 5.0

My wife and I only stayed one night. We landed in Venice and rented a car on our way to Forti dei Mari. We didn't want to do the drive all at once as we were tired from the flight and decided that Bologna was a good half way mark. I have driven in Italy before and am well aware of the issues in trying to navigate through the City center old town with many no go zones for cars. We decide to stay outside of the City center and this Hotel fit the bill. It was easy to get to from the Autostrada and easy to get back to the Autostrada in the morning. At night we took a cab to the Old town and walked around and found a great restaurant. The cab fare was appox 15 Eros each way but well worth the money. The Hotel is pristine and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast room is well laid out and the breakfast is very good. I admit that you will not get the "Old Town Feel" at the hotel but for us it was ideal. Staff was very helpful. Parking was free.
Stayed here during Autopromotec Exhibition and was disappointed overall. I chose this hotel for the location and for this it delivered, however, a pretty lifeless place with terrible internet, I would suggest looking elsewhere, like I will, next time around. The plus points : Nice enough modern rooms Location for Exhibition Ok breakfast Negatives : Terrible free WiFi, I suppose they want you to buy the premium version, but in this day and age for a business hotel I find it unacceptable. Zero atmosphere - bar are is more coffee shop like and despite being pretty full during my time, no-one stayed in the bar in the evenings. Some staff very disinterested
This place was a blessing after our debacle in Venice. It was good to get professional service and modern, functioning facilities. Staff were great, breakfast was good and a very nice place to stay. It's a little out of town but the number 28 bus is just outside so you can get to the old city very quickly and cheaply.
The hotel is at the fiera zone nearly 3 km far from the down town and 1.5 km far from the train station .You can walk at the down but its hard to walk on summer especially on july .you can take a taxi its about eur.12. And also its said that there is a bus at the center but we did not try. From the air port there is a bus at the train station its eur.6 and u should walk or take a taxi to the hotel so its better to take a taxi from the airport its eur.20. Hotel is quite and clean .The stuff is polite especially at the breakfast hall . The breakfast is ok. There is restaurant very near the hotel and mc donalds 700 meters away.
Very clean room extremely taken care of every detail.Very pleasant stay, quiet, fabulous breakfast with enormous variety and freshness.I would recommend it for its value for money and would definitely go again.
A modern hotel with good access to the city centre by foot or bus without paying city centre prices. The staff, both the reception and the breakfast team were excellent - friendly and efficient The breakfast was very good with a wide choice plus some hot items. The room was a good size and spotless and the bathroom had a large shower with a rain shower. The only downside for us was that there were no Tea/Coffee facilities in the room. Although located on a main road out of the city noise outside the hotel is not an issue. However noise inside the hotel is unfortunate because all the floors including corridors and rooms are hard tiled and the noise made by hard shoes and wheeled suitcases is amplified and intrudes into the room. To the centre is 30 mins by foot or just across the road for the bus. Note: the bus service to this area stops around 2030 but taxis are reasonable at 8 - 11 euros. Overall we would be happy to return this hotel.
A nice hotel 3 mins walk from the Bologna Fiera convention center. The restaurant at the hotel is alright, and there's a decent BBQ restaurant across the street as well. Easy access to the central station by bus (From the stop Stallingrado Parri, lines 35 or 39). You can buy bus tickets at small tobacco shops/newsstands/drug stores called Tabacchi. Everything at the hotel was as expected. Nothing to complain about.
PLUSES: *Nice Room * Very Good Breakfast including Hot Dishes * Comfy Bed * Car Parking @ 1€ an hour * Spacious Hotel MINUSES: * Lack of Noise Supression! The noise from the corridor kept me awake the whole night. The hotel need to seriously look into improving Noise Supression; mainly from the corridor side! * Fair bit of walk from the city centre Otherwise an excellent hotel
Well located with easy access to the city centre. A very clean and modern hotel, comfortable rooms. I found service a little average, but adequate. We had a very good overnight stay. Certainly very functional and well suited for business travellers.
This hotel is the closest you can get to the Fair and the Congress Centre, just a 5-minute walk. Obviously, this translates into the prices but they stay comparable with similar hotels in the city centre. The hotel has all modern amenities like well-functioning wi-fi but is must be restarted each time you re-enter the property. Nice big bathroom in the executive rooms, but the hotel TV system had difficulty showing international channels, of which the selection is limited anyway. The breakfast is rich and varied and with the adequate numbers of personal to cope with the morning rush. Be advised that there are not many good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and on busy evenings there is a taxi queue. Conclusion: great business hotel if you need to be at the fair or congress centre.
