Hotel Bologna Fiera4.0 out of 5.0

A modern hotel with good access to the city centre by foot or bus without paying city centre prices. The staff, both the reception and the breakfast team were excellent - friendly and efficient The breakfast was very good with a wide choice plus some hot items. The room was a good size and spotless and the bathroom had a large shower with a rain shower. The only downside for us was that there were no Tea/Coffee facilities in the room. Although located on a main road out of the city noise outside the hotel is not an issue. However noise inside the hotel is unfortunate because all the floors including corridors and rooms are hard tiled and the noise made by hard shoes and wheeled suitcases is amplified and intrudes into the room. To the centre is 30 mins by foot or just across the road for the bus. Note: the bus service to this area stops around 2030 but taxis are reasonable at 8 - 11 euros. Overall we would be happy to return this hotel.
A nice hotel 3 mins walk from the Bologna Fiera convention center. The restaurant at the hotel is alright, and there's a decent BBQ restaurant across the street as well. Easy access to the central station by bus (From the stop Stallingrado Parri, lines 35 or 39). You can buy bus tickets at small tobacco shops/newsstands/drug stores called Tabacchi. Everything at the hotel was as expected. Nothing to complain about.
PLUSES: *Nice Room * Very Good Breakfast including Hot Dishes * Comfy Bed * Car Parking @ 1€ an hour * Spacious Hotel MINUSES: * Lack of Noise Supression! The noise from the corridor kept me awake the whole night. The hotel need to seriously look into improving Noise Supression; mainly from the corridor side! * Fair bit of walk from the city centre Otherwise an excellent hotel
Well located with easy access to the city centre. A very clean and modern hotel, comfortable rooms. I found service a little average, but adequate. We had a very good overnight stay. Certainly very functional and well suited for business travellers.
This hotel is the closest you can get to the Fair and the Congress Centre, just a 5-minute walk. Obviously, this translates into the prices but they stay comparable with similar hotels in the city centre. The hotel has all modern amenities like well-functioning wi-fi but is must be restarted each time you re-enter the property. Nice big bathroom in the executive rooms, but the hotel TV system had difficulty showing international channels, of which the selection is limited anyway. The breakfast is rich and varied and with the adequate numbers of personal to cope with the morning rush. Be advised that there are not many good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and on busy evenings there is a taxi queue. Conclusion: great business hotel if you need to be at the fair or congress centre.
The hotel looks very good, it is very clean, modern rooms: it was one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. It is situated 2-3 km away from the city center which can be reached by foot on 30-40 minutes or taking one of the buses near the hotel. You should chose another hotel only if the location it would be an impediment for you.
First of all: the hotel is clean & in good condition. The rooms are spacious and light, quite modern. However, the location is ideal only if you are planning to attend a trade fair or exhibition. For that purpose the location is really good: just around 200 metres and you are right at the exhibition centre's entrance. There is not much else in the neighbourghood, so if you are planning to visit the centre of Bologna, I would choose another hotel. This is clearly a business hotel for business visitors at the exhibition centre. The breakfast was somewhat ok: croissants, cheese, bread, juice, yoghurt etc. It isn't really healthy nor surprising but ok for an Italian breakfast. The front desk and the restaurant staff were really cold at times and I would say that there is a clear development area for the hotel. Especially in the front desk you should look in the eyes, be glad and positive. This time they weren't. I paid around 100 euros a night during a commercial fair and as it was high season in the sense, the price was ok. However, I would never have paid this amount if it was a holiday .... so choose wisely if you consider taking this hotel for your vacation and go to the city centre.
the location is ideal if you need to go to the bologna fiere cause it is about 200m away. also the prive is not exagerated. covered parking. friendly staff clean and quiet new hotel. no carpet in the room !! room and bathroom are fine.
The hotel feels very new and clean. The doors don't block much hallway noise, but aside from that the rooms were quiet and comfortable. I had two very short one-night stays so I can't say a whole lot but I'll definitely stay there if I'm in town again. The lobby seems to have country music playing all the time, which is a bit weird.
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for him to attend a huge congress at the fair center nearby. The hotel looks nice but the check-in and out service are extremely slow and time consuming .... only one staff at the reception despite a long queue when we checked-out today !!! Also, we were staying at a room on the 5th floor, can hear from the room especially in the morning too much noise at the corridor from people walking and pulling luggage as no carpet placed on the corridor, a bit annoying to us !! For the breakfast, not much choices at the buffet and only one waiter at the restaurant today !!
