A nice well kept hotel only 5-10 minutes from the airport. Costing 17 euros by white cab. About 15-20 minute walk into Bolognas centre. The staff were very helpful and accommodating finding out train times and prices for us. Rooms are small but well kept and breakfast was as expected a selection of meats, cheese, pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc, buffet style. We enjoyed our stay and would use again.
Stayed here 3 nights. Disappointing. Receptionist not welcoming. Room small and a bit tatty although it was clean. Breakfast on first morning a disaster several Japanese guests had been in and destroyed it. Only 2 staff who I must admit did well to bring it round. Quite a walk from city centre. Not a good area not much going on at night. Would recommend you stay closer to centre. Not a four star between 3 and 2
This hotel is placed within walking distance of Bologna Fare Cersaie. However it goes downhill from there. The rooms are tiny, the bathroom is ordinary. There are not enough coat hangers in wardrobes for people attending the fair. The staff are good and helpful. Breakfast is ordinary and we had to ask for our laundry and I would not stay again.
We had booked this hotel and we had an different experience, because The employees were not very friendly. If you had questions they look very strenghts at you. That maked our stay not very welcomed. Anyway The rest of our stay was nice. The rooms are normal. It's a good hotel if you go explore The city. It's 30 minuts walk to Bologna. And by bus 15 minuts. We had Yep Amazing days in Bologna.
Hotel was very nice. Room i expect to lookbook more modernizacja but it was cosy. Room service everyday. Only little minus for breakfast as everyday was the same but there was a choice of bread, fresh Rolls, cheese to choose from, good quality ham to choose from as well, boiled eggs. Cereals, cakes and croissants as well. Overall would recommend. Bus stop opposite hotel which can take you to the city Centre in about or train station in about 20 minuts which costs only €1.50. Lidl about 900 meters from the hotel. Shops around are closed about middday and doby have any bread and etc.mostly veggies and drinks.
Stayed here for a long weekend in Bologna recently. First impressions were that it wasn't in the best area but once we got our bearings it was actually okay. Or suite was large and very clean although a bit tired. Couldn't really fault the standard of the room. It is however a bit of a walk into town but it is flat and ready to find. The breakfast was okay, just. The best thing about the hotel however is the reception staff who cannot do enough to help. All in all this hotel is probably good value for money
The room is very large and clean but sometimes at night the water noise is heard. The breakfast is good, friendly staff did not have any problems. For the railway station or the center is bus 25 but it can also be on foot in half an hour. It was a pleasant stay.
When we first arrived at the Executive Suite Hotel, our room wasn't ready. We were surprised that it wasn't closer to downtown, but we did find nearby restaurants that were good. When we checked in, we had two rooms with an adjoining door. In one of the rooms the air conditioning wasn't working. We were there in June and it was hot. We called down to the desk and they sent someone up to look at it. They didn't have a clue on how to fix it. They kept telling us that "maintenance" would be up to handle it. Well as the hours passed, no one showed. We finally went to dinner and came back and still no one had fixed it. We had a couple of battery operated hand fans that we had to use for the night. I think what was most irritating was the fact the front desk gal had no power to do anything. We were told that there were no other rooms. The next morning we put up a stink and finally they moved us up a floor. Identical rooms, but the airs worked in both rooms. The breakfast was actually good - a great selection. We had a balcony outside our room which was huge, but no chairs are provided. There is a view of the city.
ESH is a little bit outside of the centre but you can walk there from the main train station in 20 mins or catch a 10 min bus. The hotel room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. Only issues were the very very bad wifi (if you need it for work, like I did) and the air conditioner was broken on the wall so needed to go and get a remote. Not really a big thing but there we go. Breakfast was also very nice, lots to choose from and the English tea actually was not too bad. Great stay!
hotel is decent for the price. Bologna does not have much when it comes to attractions but the city center is about 25-30min walk from hotel. The workers don't really speak/understand English so communication is difficult and customer service is not exactly a priority for them. However there are exceptions - Dominik and the gentleman that worked front desk overnight during my stay (July 9-11) are very pleasant and super awesome
