Nisa our who looked after the property could not have been more helpful, booked taxis and trips for us and everything else . Daphne who did the cleaning just delightful. Property itself is just stunning, everything you could need was there. You can just sit and look at the view all day . Blew us away best holiday we have ever had and difficult to know how to top it .

Gorgeous house! Gorgeous views! Incredibly responsive host! What more could you ask for?

First of all, the photos on the listing for Villa Sunset are accurate. The house & views are as beautiful as in the listing.Marc & his property mgmt company are incredibly responsive. I sent Marc several emails before our stay & usually had a response within an hour. We made a few requests of the property mgmt - all were satisfied within a few hours. I will say that, if at least one of your party doesn't have a SIM that allows phone calls in Antigua, be sure to download WhatsApp to your phone to communicate with the property manager.Six of us rented the house, so we used all bedrooms. The beds were all very comfortable & there was plenty of space to stash away our belongings: full dressers and closets with enough hangers for 2 people for a week.All the furnishings & decor are luxurious. The house is 1000% the best equipped rental any of us had ever been in. Blender, coffee maker & GRINDER, washer / dryer (no soap), snorkel gear, beach chairs, GOLF CLUBS, nice grill, 110 outlets - so no adapters, portable playpen if you need it. They've thought of everything. Whole house cleaning twice during our 8 day stay. Close to grocery & restaurants. (Our favorites were OJ's and Fox House.)Consider accepting tire insurance on your rental. Roads are terrible.I'd have written a much more flowery review but VRBO limits to 1,500 chars. All I can say is you will love your time here. You'll feel very pampered!

Great house but lots of construction nearby

This is great house. Everything you need is there. It’s very comfortable in every way. The view is outstanding. Marc, the owner, is a good communicator and responsive. There is one big issue that is important to consider. This house is part of a development called Sugar Ridge. The development is in its early stages, which means there is a lot of construction going on. There are two houses being built directly in front of the house and the lot next door was just cleared and is probably getting ready to be developed. We were there in the week leading up to Christmas so most of the construction stopped but there was some banging coming from one of the houses. To compound this problem, the house sits on a hill overlooking Jolly Harbor and there is serious construction going on there. While it seems far away, the noise (drilling, jack hammering, movement of cranes and heavy equipment) travels up the hill. This was a constant for most of the week. I know it’s impossible for the owner to know what construction is happening and when and it’s out of his control but it needs to be disclosed because the noise can be very loud and make enjoying this house almost impossible. For this reason alone, I can not recommend staying there. Because the development is in the early stages, the noise will be an issue for many years. If you are not someone who is bothered by this, it is otherwise a terrific house.

Just wanted to provide feedback that we had an absolutely lovely time at Villa Sunset. The property was exactly as described...beautiful home with all of the accoutrements anyone could ask for. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bedrooms were all lovely and wonderfully air conditioned. The pool was divine... What is however impossible to put into words is the view. Breathtaking is the only way to describe. All of this in combination with the lovely property owner Marc... made our stay perfect. Thanks again !

The rental was beautiful and view was gorgeous! Beds were very comfortable. We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every morning before heading to the beach and came back to watch the sunset and then dinner outside. It Started Out Great, And Got Better!

From the moment the 4 of us were picked up at the airport and transported to the property, we knew this would be special. We were cheerily greeted by Jovanna from the Property Management Office who showed us the features of the home and answered our questions. The first thing that struck us was the incredible view. As I told my companions, some may get tired of the view of St. Kitts and Nevis to the west, with Kitts serving as part of our sundown photo shooting, but not I. Kitts and Nevis were visible most of the time and served as a wonderful backdrop to the occasional cruise ship and many catamarans in the area. The next thing is the unique property layout. Over the last 30 years or so we have stayed at many VRBO locations I can't recall any having the distinct separation between the common areas (kitchen and living) and sleeping facilities, 3 rooms with en suite bathrooms. This arrangement plus the ample outdoor space gave everyone the luxury of privacy while enjoying the full experience of the property. The infinity pool was a bonus!. We used it almost everyday for a refreshing dip after exploring the island or just to look out over the edge downward to the harbour. If you want an incredible vacation at an incredible location, look no further!

Sunset Paradise

My wife and I along with another couple we frequently travel with just came back from an 8 day stay at the Villa Sunset. This home has spectacular views of Jolly Harbour and of course the sunset. The home is very clean, modern, and well equipped for just about everything you could need. From the day we booked till the day we left the Villa Sunset the communication between Villa Management, Marc and myself was very responsive, professional and refreshing. We have traveled frequently and this is one of the best places we have stayed feeling safe and welcome. We already miss sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the sunset and being serenaded by the tree frogs. Thank you Marc for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back!!! Luxury vacation in Paradise!!

Absolutely amazing stay at the Garvey Family’s Sunset Villa! Super simple check in/check out process, great recommendations on things to do/local eats, and provided a great rental car service! Each room is essentially its own HUGE private master suite with 5 star accommodations!! The views from the deck pool area are phenomenal from sun up to sun down! The kitchen is equipped with anything and everything to cool a 5 course meal especially since the epicurean grocery store is at the bottom of the hill! You will not be disappointed with choosing sunset villa for your stay in Antigua!!

A week in paradise

Villa sunset is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The house is set up with every necessary amenity and the view from the pool area is genuinely rather spectacular at all times of day. We loved the fact that all bedrooms and en suites are just as spacious as each other so no guest feels like they’re loosing out. Villa Sunset is absolutely amazing. The impression you get when you enter the property up the steps is incredible. The infinity pool is perfectly situated to view the town, the sunsets, and natural hills. My family was so excited upon arrival, we spent the first two days soaking up the sun and the views while grilling out. This is not just a place to sleep. You could literally spend all your time at this Villa. The beaches and grocery store is a 3 minute drive away, so you get back to this amazing property quickly. Quality family time spent together was achieved every day because we all couldn’t get enough of being in the pool and patio.

Perfect Family Vacation Get-Away

Jolly Harbor is a great place to stay in Antigua, and Villa Sunset is an ideal vacation home. The views were beautiful, and the Villa is well-designed with three private rooms, perfect for a family with adult-age children. The outdoor patios were great for relaxing, and the infinity pool was a crowd favorite. The host and the management staff were very friendly and responsive. The only suggestion we have for visitors is that you may want to forego the rental car and hire taxis during your stay. They are quite reasonable, and it's a lot more fun to let the locals navigate the roads while you enjoy the scenery!

Pictures does not do this place justice. It was everything I never knew I needed and more. It was well equipped and stocked and very clean. There was a cleaner who came by mid stay and cleaned. It is in an ideal location that is quiet and nestled in the hills. All the rooms have picturesque views. It was amazing to see the sun rise and set everyday. I drank wine and relaxed by the infinity pool daily. The hosts were able to facilitate a private dinner for my birthday and that in itself was spectacular. I could go on and on about how amazing and unforgettable this Villa is! I look forward to staying here in the future and HIGHLY recommend.

Annual Sisters Trip

Absolute excellence! Beautifully appointed home. Another annual trip in the books and the home did not disappoint. The homeowner, Marc responded quickly to all questions and concerns. He also went above and beyond to honor a special request I had. A rental car (they can deliver) or car service is needed to get around. The home sits atop a very steep hill but that’s what allows for such great views. Jolly Harbour beach is a 5 minute drive but don’t stop at just that one. I highly recommend this home and would consider it again on my next visit.

Property exactly as described; in fact the view was even better than we expected, truly jaw dropping. Quality of home was very high with plenty of facilities and equipment. Location was very convenient although the only thing to be aware of was the steep hill - its not very far to Jolly Harbour / restaurants etc but I wouldn't want to walk upwards after a good night out ! Booking and liasion process was easy. difficult to find anything other than positive things to say (clearly its an expensive option but it depends on what you are looking for).

A little slice of Heaven

Sunset Villa is definitely the best VRBO our family has ever stayed! Everything was was 5 star-- from the home's furnishings to the outstanding view we looked out upon every morning while drinking our coffee to the mesmerizing sunsets every evening. The communication with the owner was excellent and his villa management team was responsive to our asks/needs while we were there the entire 2 weeks. Can't say enough about Sunset Villa- hope to return again in the future!!

A Perfect Vacation

Villa Sunset lived up to all our expectations, and then some! The villa itself is beautifully appointed and all ameneties, fixtures and fittings are a very high standard. And the there is THAT view, which when you sit on the veranda with a cold drink and enjoy the sunset then that is when you realise just how spectacularly placed you are!
