The room seemed nice, but it was poorly lit. I will have to assume they were working on improving the hotal because the carpets in the hallways were dirty and had paint on them. I did not see anyone working on making improvement but there would not be any other reason for the hotel to look like this. We visited the pool and there was not any towels in the pool area we had to use the room towels. The chlorine smell was so bad I got a head ache but I believe that happens with all inside pools.

Room smells and very small, nothing like the pictures online.

Slept in a loud basement. Sheets smelled so strongly of bleach that my head hurt. Left early due to discomfort

Amazing! The breakfast was the BEST I have ever had at a hotel and it was free! They have a large pool and large hot tub, and the bed was wonderful. This will probably be out go-to hotel to get away for the weekend.

The hotel was so comfortable after 10 hours on the road helping our family move to Caldwell. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've seen. The pool and hot tub was great and the staff were very nice. I will stay there again!

Helpful staff and nice accommodations. Lives up to the trustworthy LaQuinta brand

My only complaints were that the room smelled bad like musty or mildew and it was not a smoke smell as it was supposed to be a non smoking room. It made me physical sick after 2 days. Also 1st floor was really below the main 2nd floor and there was no elevator. I had to pack everything up and down a flight of stairs. Also breakfast on the weekends did not start till 7am - too late as I had to be somewhere at 7am. I would not use them again but they had the only vacant room for that weekend.

We've come to expect more from La Quinta Inns, and this property does not deliver! This motel has a first floor that is a partial basement or sub-level, which is where we were put. There is no elevator, so access is via stairs. Windows look out at about ground level into the parking lot. The back door is used by the smokers, who sit on the steps or stand nearby, so the smell of cigarette smoke is strong and blows down the hall to nearby rooms. Halls were drab and depressing. Our room was not clean. Areas had dust and dirt, and there was hair in both the tub and the sink. the sink was also badly cracked and unsightly (as well as unsanitary). The AC was dirty and noisy but worked adequately. On the plus side, the place was very quiet, probably because the College of Idaho was not in session. We saw mostly truckers and construction workers, no-nonsense folks who went to bed early and got up early, but were quiet in the halls. The free breakfast was very ample. Plenty of free parking. The bed was clean and very comfortable. I probably would not stay in this hotel again, especially when C of I is in session.

Good location away from Boise, but near enough to drive there...The clerk was kind enough to accommodate our early arrival.

When I arrived at the hotel to check in, the lady at the front desk was arguing with a guest about a problem or mix-up that had occurred. When I checked in, the front desk called the maid to ask if my room was ready. She was given the okay and I was given my key. When I went to the room, it wasn't ready and was in the process of being cleaned and I was asked to come back later. When I did, I was taken aback by the furious smoke scent that was blanketed in the room. It was unbelievable! The bathroom smelled like a chain smokers lounge and the odor would not go away. Eventually, I had to ask the front desk to switch my room because of how bad the smell was. Thankfully they moved me to another room (with a broken refrigerator and no television remote). I used the fitness room and it looks nothing like the fitness room in the photo. I don't know how hotels are allowed to use pictures from other sites and claim them as their own. Overall, it was an unpleasant stay and not somewhere I would stay again. There were dead bugs on the walls and I've mentioned several other problems already. Just a sad excuse for a hotel.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Difficult to find comfortable room temp...too hot with heat on and cold days. Needed to use air conditioner to find comfortable sleeping temp. Bed too soft. Price was reasonable.

We arrived late and left early. Everything was fine. Breakfast was super. Great price!!!

Needed a place for one night...reserved online. Room was good size for what we needed which was a place to sleep! Fridge, Micro, TV in room. Spa ran a little hot. Front desk staff were great! Very helpful and friendly. Good eats around the area--just a few miles to get to BWW in Nampa.

Checked into Hotel about 4:00PM and found that Key card would not work. (both) Young lady at counter took me to room and she did make one key work. Room across from me had a non-smoking sign next to room number, mine did not. Upon entering room it was obvious room had been smoked in. When I returned to lobby and informed the attendant, she informed me that the entire hotel was non-smoking and that she had no more rooms left. why are some rooms marked non-smoking and others are not if the entire hotel is non-smoking. Did not have a very enjoyable evening...........

The breakfast was great the staff were great in costumer service clean rooms and non smoking room great

We needed a place to stay overnight on a trip from Washington to Utah. My son used his smartphone to go to Orbitz' web site and book a room. The rates for the La Quinta in Caldwell were the best for what we were looking for. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast the next day was great! I was expecting the typical continental breakfast of a simple pastry. Instead, my son and I enjoyed waffles and biscuits with gravy. We will likely be staying there again on the return trip.

staff took care of my needs with great speed and was extremely polite. Would mark this property as a must stay if in the area again.

All the staff was very friendly and attentive to any needs you might have. They made you feel like you were welcomed and not just another customer. They went the extra step!!

Indoor pool, nice breakfast. Drive to major restraunt chains except Purkins

The bed was clean, as well as the bathroom. But the carpets in the hall and in the room were dirty. I noticed pets were allowed in the facility and given the condition of the carpets, I was concerned about fleas and ticks. There was no evidence of them in my room, but I was concerned.
