Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful area of Bogota. Very close to shopping malls and entertainment. The hotel has a great spa and gym to relax in if you want to spend the day at the hotel. Very friendly staff. Would recommend any guests traveling to Bogota to stay at this hotel.
This hotel informed me upon arrival that a package I had shipped there, was sent back. Turns out it arrived but they lost it in the building after checking the tracking number online... sent me on a wild goose chase to find the package with their shipper, and then when they said “Oh, actually we have it. Forgot.”, they then took 5 hours to deliver it to my room as they LOST it on their end, in the hotel. Not much of an apology and no compensation as the box shipped contained ALL of the needed materials for the event the following day. No bottled water available upon arrival in the room, not in plain sight. Gross soap bar from last guest not replaced with a new sealed one in bathroom when I arrived (3 days, not replaced ever from the last guest...). Not nearly enough hand towels in my room... only given 1. Ew. Phone handset in my room was broken. We asked twice at the front desk for replacement, got shrugged at and nothing happened during the stay. Safe wasn’t reset when I arrived, had to ask TWICE at the front desk for them to come up and reset my code so I could get it reset for myself. Annoying. The beds are quite hard and uncomfortable for a 5-star hotel. There’s a lot of food available for the brunch buffet, but only some of it is good... a lot of it is pretty botched... terrible rock-hard, not fluffy waffles, thin/squished French toast, and hard/aged bread... etc. Honestly, stay elsewhere.
This was my third stay in the last 4 years. Airport pickup was smooth. Check in , albeit at 11 pm, was quick. We were in 1115. Great view, smart layout of tiles (entry and bathroom areas) and carpet (bed, couch, desk zone). Incredible breakfast buffet - it seems to expand every year.. very close to two great malls and the Usaquen area. I'm not a great fan of the Nespresso machines they have in the rooms but if you ask nicely in the restaurant they'll give you a large to go (cafe para llevar por favor)
Positives: - Good GYM for aerobic and anaerobic - Good Breakfast (but needs more dietary options). Also eggs preparation takes too long. - Good shower and bed - Room is big and spacious - Location is excellent Negatives: - No warmer inside the room (Bogota is very cold). And if you’re ask them for a warmer, it’s not good or powerful enough. - Also the room has only one blanket (you need to ask them for more) - No iron in the room. - Wifi is unstable (doesn’t work well) inside the room.
I usually stay at the W based on local colleagues recommendations. When the W wasn't available, and seemingly many other hotels last week I decided to branch out, after having a a few meetings in the NH hotel lobby. Overall I was very happy with the room and the staff. My only minor complaint was that they were doing maintenance on both hot tubs in the otherwise well appointed spa at the same time. I'm sure this is most efficient, and perhaps the plumbing is such that they have to, but it would have been wonderful to be able to use at least one of them while they were servicing the other. Otherwise a great visit!
Great Breakfast, Pool, Meeting Rooms, Location Lousy - Towels - kind of like sandpaper ... Service is good. Hotel is in Usaquen one of the best neighborhoods in Bogota I think. Remember traffic in Bogota is TERRIBLE
Excellent and very friendly. The staff are consistently very attentive. Price / quality is an excellent value with larger than normal rooms as compared to other hotels in Bogota, Colombia. I recommend this hotel for those traveling to Bogota for business or pleasure.
This is my second time at the NH Collection Teleport and I can only say that it is better than the previous one. The rooms are in better shape, the food has improved tremendously and service is as usual fantastic. The hotel has a good location and it is easily accessible. Really good margaritas as well :). Overall a great experience.
This hotel is the best recommended hotel on my staying in Bogota. Whenever I am visiting in Bogota, I don't fail to stay this hotel. It takes about less than one hour from the airport on daytime by taxi. There are good supermarket & shopping mall near this hotel (five minutes by walking), and we can get drinks and foods. And also, another shopping mall, where we can eat, drink and buy shopping is on the way to Usaquen. We can also get to many restaurants district in usaquen area by 10-15 minutes walking. Staff, everybody including general manager are very kindly and helpful for tourists. Hotel room is very wide and keeping a clean including bathroom. And shower gel, shampoo, conditionar, body milk and hand cream were provided in each day. Now, I've been using, yet now. Restaurants is located at first floor. We can use all time in a day. As for the breakhast, we can take from six o'clock in the morning. Many kinds of dishes (salad, fruits, breads, ham and so on) are put in the table, so it is difficult to select as the breakfast. And, omelette or sunny side up is served by order made.
It is the first time I stay at this hotel, not bad at all! Love the place and the food is great! I think it's probably the best breakfast I have enjoyed at a hotel. The staff from the restaurant are lovely, such warm and kind people, appreciate their patience! Would love to go back, but there was just one thing that really bothered me: in a 5 star hotel they have Front Desk staff that has not a clue of how to speak English and is rude when she doesnt understand what you are saying. That is a shame, I didn't like that treatment. It was a small, tanned girl, if you visit the hotel, just ask for someone else at the front desk, probably there will be someone better to talk to. In any case! Go there and enjoy the hotel! Oh and loved the spa as well! Recommended, had a good time nontheless!!!
