Nothing like you see in photos ! Property very old ! Really old ! Scary elevators. I changed room 2 times. Noisy and cranky. I asked manager for refund or free night he refused ! What a shame. Breakfast runs out fast and they don’t refill it. I really didn’t want to stay there. Dont lure for the price as you’ll pay for it.
The hotel was convenient to Chapinero. The room was cleaned daily. There was no A/C unit in the room. When we initially arrived, the airport yellow taxi tried to charge a flat rate instead of using the metered rate. The person at the front desk was of no help. I paid the correct metered rate with extra 20 percent on top of that and left it there. Regarding the hotel breakfast, amazing inclusive breakfast options. Probably needs to be slightly more attentive to keeping things filled up until at least 15 minutes to the end of breakfast (juice, toast, and eggs). The maid did leave our room door open and I spoke with the front desk to just confirm with housekeeping that they make sure the door is closed after servicing the room. I'm not sure the hotel front desk took this seriously or if it was just a language barrier, but security did come up to the room to speak with us. Nothing was taken and just wanted to remind the housekeeping to make sure room doors are closed. We utilized the safe inside the rooms. The front desk person's English became much better after calling them again with security to help translate the concern. At check out, they had a different room number's room service check(s) posted to our room. The different room number was clearly posted on our bill. This was easily resolved with a statement on the bill and my signature beneath that. However, this shouldn't happen. Overall, I would consider selecting this hotel again when I return.
I keep coming back to Estellar Hotels because they are always consistently exceptional. Even during the pandemic when manpower and resources were difficult, they were always on top of everything and if not able to take care of something, they were very communicative about when things would be happening. Especially at the Hotel Estellar Jones Suites in Bogota! The rooms are what I call "basic" luxury with comfortable, large and secure, exactly what I need for my travel. Good comfortable accomodations. The beds and pillows are always very comfortable and room & maid service is great. Even durng the pandemic the breakfast was always on-time and delicious. This last visit it was even better than I've ever remembered. I have stayed in Estellars in Cartegena, Medellin and Bogota and I look for them in my travels because of depenability, good pricing and a great staff.
The room itself is very spacious! We had flown in from Cartagena and were exhausted. We had a tour scheduled that day so we left our bags with the front desk (around 1:00pm). When we arrived back, we did our check-in. It was an extremely long process. I wish they had done this earlier in the day when there was no one waiting. I understand not being able to check into the room, but the other process could have been done. Overall it was ok!

Outdated hotel but has very spacious rooms. The breakfast is less than OK ( compare to other hotels in Bogota). We paid good price for the suit room so it was OK stay.

The hotel was very clean and spacious. We arrived very early in the morning and were able to check-in when we arrived for a small fee. We booked a private airport shuttle though the hotel, and our driver, Alfonso, really made our trip. We made arrangement with him to pick up us and drop us off in different parts of Bogota and he was always very helpful, prompt, and made our visit so much easier! Thank you Alfonso!
I've been traveling to Bogota once a Month since September 2016, and ever since I have always choosen Estelar Suites Jones. Great Location, friendly staff and they even have doctors for you in case you need it. The best place to stay in Bogota.

The breakfas is good and the location is simply AWESOME. I travel to Bogota every 45 days and Estelar Suites Jones is always my first choice.

Location is on the west side of the city and centrally located near carrera 7 calle 61, in the Chapinero area which facilitates easy access north and south in the city. The hotel staff are the stars, myself being a frequent international traveler, was pleasantly surprised and appreciated the genuine warmth and welcoming atmosphere that was expressed by all the staff and management. Room is basic, nothing fancy, full mini-bar, no coffee facility, bathroom has soap, shampoo, flat screen tv was large with many channels. Bed was comfortable, window floor to ceiling would open, key card entry, telephone, adequate storage locker and cabinet. Restaurant provided a good breakfast, lunch and dinner are well prepared. There is a beautiful bar but I did not utilize it however it is lovely and extends to an outdoor sitting area. There is a gym but I did not use it so can not comment. I see a parking garage on the lower levels. While taxis were readily available, I used Uber exclusively during my stay for trips to the Andino Mall, Diver Plaza, Mount Monseratte and to the airport; most wait times were 5 minutes or less. Sure there are nicer hotels in Bogota with more amenities but the price was right, have no regrets and would choose this hotel again.
The staff was helpful, rooms are in excellent condition, food is great, and the service was amazing!! Will stay here again.
