I had the worst experience at this hotel it began in the parking lot just trying to get to the hotel to check in, the lady working the parking lot asked me what is my room number and I told her I'm just now checking in I don't have a room number, she made me wait 20 minutes just to find out if I had a reservation first, in the rain with my kids. Once I was able to get to the front desk the man checking us in, treated us like third class citizens. He kept mentioning everything that I have to pay for that was extra then he gave me attitude like I couldn't afford anything. Then he wanted phone numbers from all of us including my 6 year old, wth? I have made many trips to Bogota and many places in Colombia, and this by far is the worst place for customer service I have ever stayed in. The check in process took over an hour which is not easy when you have two children who are tired, hungry and trying to get out of the rain. I chose this hotel because it is from the Estelar chain, I have stayed with this hotel before in Barranquilla and the service was excellent. I'm not sure where these people receive their training for customer service but they could learn a thing or two from the hotel staff in Barranquilla. They treated me and my kids like we were peasants and couldn't afford anything at their hotel. What was strange is that they didn't see anything wrong with how they were treating us, I guess it's an everyday thing to treat people so poorly.

We had to stay overnight for a national connection. Staff was good. The food was excellent, but expensive. I stayed with my husband and 5 YO. We are planning to come back for vacations and would like to stay there.

The staff of the hotel was good and friendly, an exception was for the cleaner who always every day was nocking at the room door very early in the morning to ask if the room has to be clean, or to ask for how many people in the room, or to ask is there is laundry to be done, this was the extremely uncountable and disgusting shape of the hotel.

This is my second time. First time they charged us with extra 20 dollars we never knew why. I forgive them because is a nice hotel, clean rooms, good location and nice and friendly staff. But just take a human being to make a difference and this time there is point of no return for us. We will never never again book this hotel in the future. If they dont train their staff to provide accurate, clear and concise information to clients then you ended paying for things you were told there is no charge such as phone calls to cell phones Then is the attitude when you addressed the situation, the defensively, rude and unprofessional conduct of the whole staff because this become a roman circus where everyone is involved but the front person who is supposed to take charge of the situation and even the guy who open the door has something to say and more and more people are coming to voice an opinion and you ended up surrounded of hotel' s staff! Fortunately the manager come to rescue me and he managed the problem professionally and waive the charges because he allowed me to talk and explain what information I received from the staff so he admitted that was not my fault but rather hotel's staff ....so end of the history....but the bad taste of what happened is still in my mouth!

The staff was very helpful and over all the place was very nice for the money

Great location and friendly staff.

Overall, this hotel was quite adequate. It was very clean and the room was comfortable. There were two drawbacks. Number one was the location; it simply wasn't near anything--attractions,shopping,parks, etc. Number two was the very poor service in the restaurant. The staff could use some training in customer attention.
