just a couple of blocks from the presidential palace and other tourist sites. staff very friendly and helpful. good food in restaurant.

Great location old district, stayed on 7th floor Deco area, the entire staff was excellent, they could not do enough for you, breakfast was Outstanding, would recommend

We had a very short visit of 6 daylight hours. It was drizzling - so we did a fast walking tour of the city, church and ended up at a fabulous traditional Columbian restauarant. The bathroom at the hotel was very small - no problem but it was very strong with chlorine smell!

Fantastic Hotel, right in the middle of the Historic District. One block from the gorgeous Plaza Bolivar, with museums and typical restaurants within a few blocks radius. Doesn't get any better than this.

Located within a couple of blocks from San Carlos Palace, Primary Cathedral, Bolivar Square, Gold museum and other tourist attractions, plus about 30-minute walking distance to Montserrate hill, this boutique styled hotel is safe, and ideally located in the La Candelaria, "Old Town" of Bogota. Check in was painless, less than 5-minutes. The hotel reception staff were professional and courteous. The room we stayed in was clean, but basic on amenities. The room featured a small balcony with view of the street outside of the hotel. Continental breakfasts were served each day from around 6:30 AM to around 10:00 AM. The food provided was excellent with a chef available to make omelets and other goodies upon request from guests. We were able to go up to the rooftop of the hotel for a panoramic view over the rooftops and bell towers of La Candelaria. This is definitely a must see! The hotel features a number of amenities, including two (2) restaurants, indoor pool and spa, a small gym and other services. Overall we had an great stay at this hotel in the old town. Yellow taxi cab ride from the hotel to the airport costs about Colombia $22,000 peso.

Beautifully restored hotel one block away from Plaza de Bolivar. Large rooms with small balconies overlooking historic La Candelaria neighborhood. Bogota is a real sleeper tourist destination. It was a very pleasant surprise with perfect mild weather, friendly people, and lots of interesting sites. The city was huge and fascinating and the trip up to the top of Montserrate was not to be missed. Bogota is in Eastern Time Zone, 5.5 hrs from NYC. No jet lag!. Prices were very reasonable, even for the most deluxe restaurants

Good location for sightseeing, very nice hotel, but pay attetion outside the hotel during night.

This hotel is perfectly situated to take advantage of Bogota's many museums. The building itself is lovely, including an old villa-style dining area and courtyard but luxurious modern spa facilities. The rooms are spacious and well appointed -- not exceptional but very comfortable. What we liked best was the staff, especially since we were hesitant about staying in the Candelaria. The staff works hard to help guests. In our case, that meant arranging a trip out of town to two salt mines, providing dinners late at night and offering advice whenever we asked for it. This is a gem, in a beautiful city that is bound to attract more tourists now that security is improved.

Nice central location, in the old part of Bogotá, which enables the visitor to walk around the historic area of the city

nice little and cosy hotel in a good and interesting area in bogota. small but nice pool and spa facility. my room was in the new building and was kind of noisy but more quiet than the rooms facing the main entrance. the elevator was extremely slow. the location of the hotel is a far away from the new center like zona rosa.
