Honestly, a call out to the owners and staff: the property needs SERIOUS maintenance. It's a shame that lack of investment in basic appliances is becoming an issue that makes the property poorly maintained.

I stayed 9 nights and will go back. Rooms are well layed out, spacious enough and rooms maintenance is excellent. Laundry service is wuick and reasonably priced. The restaurant has good simple food reasonably priced. Location is good even for those not familiar with the city. Is at a major intersection where is very easy to find a cab and near UNICENTRO, the large shopping Mall with full services for either business or shoppers.
The hotel was very comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast was super as was the restaurant staff. Spanish langauge ability would be really helpful as English is not readily understood by the majority of the hotel staff. The location was not well suited for tourist but OK for business travelers. Taxis were readily available as well as inexpensive. Overall a good bargain but on subsequent trips I'd likely prefer to be closer to the city center.
