My Colombian wife and I booked two rooms for us and her family on Valentines' Day, Feb. 14th. We had held our Colombian wedding here 6 years ago so had high hopes for our stay but were disappointed. The disappointments began when my wife and I returned from dinner at around 11 in the evening. Security at the front door slowed us from entering the hotel and then the front desk made us wait 10+ minutes while they verified my wife's identity. As background, I checked in without her in the afternoon and didn't know I'd need her passport for check in. Needless to say we were irate that after paying for 2 rooms for the evening they were questioning my wife's identity and making a bigger deal then it should have been. The morning came and at check out we asked to speak to the hotel manager to express our dissatisfaction about the night before. It took a few minutes but eventually we spoke with the manager. It was at that point I realized I had left my sunglasses on the chair in our room. The manager paired me up with the head housekeeper and he and I went back upstairs. When we arrived my hotel room door was open and the maid was cleaning my room. There were no sunglasses and she claimed she had not seen any. While I cannot 100% prove she took them I know they were in the room on the chair 15 earlier and now they were no longer there. I went back downstairs and while the hotel manager listened she didn't do anything for us. Here it is a week later and still no satisfaction.

Nice and clean hotel, far away from everything if you like to walk. Taxi rides are not expensive though but with the traffic it may take a while to get to your destination.
Booked a junior suite and got a corner room with fantastic views! Breakfast had plenty of buffet selections and cooked to order options too. Overall, great experience and highly recommendable hotel.
Everything was outstanding except distance to the avivimiento church was farther than we thought. Flight to Bogota was delayed and we missed the hotel shuttle which upset the hotel clerk. Transportation from hotel is expensive.
This hotel is situated in the heart if the city. It is a short cab ride from many attractions us has the gold museum and the emerald meseum. The cab drivers contracted by the hotel will function as four guides for a reasonable price.
I have been several times at this hotel and always has been clean, organized, confortable and the service always very good.
