The service was wonderful, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time there.

Rooftop bar great location huge breakfast buffet . Very attentive staff and the rooms were very well appointed and true to its name a designer hotel

This is a very pretty hotel with attractive decor. It is all based on the famous Bogotá “Museo del Oro”. The hotel staff are very friendly and pleasant. I have to say that I do not care for the way the rooms are laid out because the toilet is in a completely different part of the room from the shower/sink area. However the main reason why I could not recommend this hotel to someone else it’s because I ended up getting food poisoning from the dinner I had at the hotel restaurant on January 28. The following morning I explained what had happened to me to the front desk ladies and while they seemed sympathetic and concerned nothing else happened. I think it would have been a nice gesture on the part of the hotel to have refunded my money from the dinner which cost me $60 and a night full of being physically sick. even though I did not ask them to remove the charge I think a sign of a proactive customer service would to have been to do so or at least to bring out a manager to speak to me about the situation. Unfortunately, this ruined the rest of my trip in Bogotá because I was not feeling well and recovering from that dinner. I cannot therefore in good faith recommend this hotel because the last thing a traveler wants to have happen on a trip very far from home is to get food poisoning. BOG Hotel, please be more careful with your food handling practices in your restaurant in the future!

This is a very pretty hotel with very attractive décor which is based on Bogotá’s famous Museo del Oro. The staff were pleasant and friendly. However, the rooms are extremely small and I do not like how old the toilet is located completely separate from the shower and sink area. Unfortunately though I cannot give this hotel a recommendation to anyone considering visiting it because when I had dinner at the hotel restaurant with a friend on Monday, January 28 I ended up getting food poisoning and was sick for the rest of my trip. it is pretty clear to me that it happened because of the dinner I had at the hotel restaurant. I did tell the front desk staff about what happened to me the following day and while they seemed sympathetic and did seem to write down a couple notes no offer of compensating me for the dinner, such as removing the charge from my bill, it was made. Even though I did not ask them to remove the charge from the dinner which made me sick I still think it would have been a good gesture on their part to have done so. Because of this situation I could not in good faith recommend this hotel to other travelers because getting sick on a trip is one of the worst things that can happen to a person.

Nice hotel, no significant minuses to describe, great breakfast. But there are a lot of very similar or even better hotels in Bogota with a significantly lower price. Had a time to explore at least two other hotels on the same street, BOG is not the best price to quality option.

The staff was so friendly, I was on a business trip, only there for 2 days, but the staff makes a huge difference

this hotel is amazing. well worth it all.. room was beautiful.. the personal assistant was an amazing help... they were able to have a car ready for the trip back to the airport... amazing times three.

Great except I was not given the option for double beds when I booked and had to share a queen

Dear Guest, We are very sorry to hear of this particular unpleasant incident. For us is really important to know about your experiences and comments at BOG Hotel. This is the reason why we open an investigation regarding what happened at the restaurant of the hotel. This investigation followed by a traceability of each product help us to ensure every ingredient you consumed that day was in perfect conditions. We know that at this moment it is impossible to compensate this experience. However, we would like to inform you that; each product in the restaurant had been prepared with regard to highest quality and safety requirements. In addition to this regulation, we have a food engineer (HACCP specialist), who controls and assessed all ingredients and processing conditions. We received daily our fish, meat and vegetables, due to that we can guarantee the freshness of every dish. That particular day the fish arrived freshly caught and in perfect conditions, with the production lots, expiration date and service provider label. The manipulation of that fish had been supervised by our chef. As well as the rest of the ingredients like fruits and vegetables. We are very sorry about what happened, we wish your prompt recovery.

Dear Guest, We highly appreciate the time you have taken to comment regarding our hotel design. Please allow us to share with you the hotel concept as it is stated in the Design Hotel (Property of Starwood Hotels) website. BOG Hotel was designed by Nini Andrade Silva a Portuguese reknown architect, artist, and award-winning designer. Silva has worked with celebrated designers in the United States, Denmark, South Africa, France, and England to perfect her own distinctive design aesthetic, playfully referred to as "minimalist." She is the creative mind behind Fontana Park Hotel, The Vine, and B.O.G. Hotel, among others Design Hotels in her impressive repertoire. Perhaps her strong, intense affinity towards color theory is derived from her background as a painter. With a talent for evoking sensation and warmth, this citizen of the world can proudly place her name alongside the biggest and brightest designers in the world. All 55 rooms by award-winning designer Nini Andrade Silva focus on golden tones, green, grays, and beige combined with natural stone, bronze, mirrors, mosaics, and tinted glass to create pared-down and restful spaces. Regards,
