This hotel is pretty standard - location is decent, free breakfast, spacious room, but none of that really mattered when I pulled back the cover of my bed. There were small hairs ALL over the sheets. My bed had at least 15 spotted on the sheets and pillows in addition to a dark stain. Photo is attached for your viewing. My friend's bed also had hairs. Staff wasn't super friendly. Also the toilet in our room didn't flush. Overall this hotel wasn't the best.
The hotel is located in the Chapinero neighborhood. The neighborhood is full of food, low-end and midrange shopping and a good selection of food. You are within walking distance of Theatron, a nightlife experience not to be missed. The staff at the hotel was incredibly kind and welcoming. I arrived quite late and was welcomed into the hotel and settled quickly. The room was of average size, clean, and well decorated. The bed in the room was decently comfortable. I stayed in a room facing the main road, and it was therefore a bit loud during the day due to the standard sounds of the city. This isn't the hotels fault, but if you plan to sleep in (which you might want to do after a night on the town), do bring ear plugs or request a room in the back. The room has a moderately priced mini-bar for your snacking needs. Checkout was quick and painless with a settling of the bill and a warm thank you.
We found the hotel through booking.com for 214,000 COP for a twin room for 2 nights. Great complimentary breakfast, kind staff and comfortable rooms. The one thing I would say is take some ear plugs as the doors are very thin. General tips: Don't sleep in the Candelaria barrio as it's not really safe at night. Use Uber everywhere. If you are less than 3 people Uber pool is even 30% cheaper and you can choose to pay cach if you don't want international credit card charges.
The hotel is in a very convenient location. The staff speak limited English, but if you speak Spanish they are extremely helpful. There is relatively little street noise. I was originally to have split the room with another person. However, the space was barely large enough for my carry on and checked bag. The rooms are slightly claustrophobic evident by the scuff marks around the white walls.
We stayed here for one night on arrival from UK and then again before departure. Rooms are pretty small but have everything you need. Breakfast is good. Pretty dull area but what we saw if Bogota was not great. Get a room at the back as front rooms are noisy!
Clean rooms, efficient clerks, good shower and fair breakfast. Price is good. It's not close to Zona Rosa or La Candelaria, but Uber is cheap in Bogotá. The building is been fixed then I believe it will be better in some months.
The hotel is reasonably modern, with nice rooms and extremely comfortable bed. Rooms come with a fridge and a small TV (in case you need one). Shower has good pressure and hot water (a rarity in Colombia). Staff is very helpful and friendly (they speak little English though). WiFi is free, quite strong and for the most part reliable. The hotel is in Chapinero, with plenty of stores and restaurants in walking distance. I am female and was travelling solo and felt perfectly safe walking around the neighbourhood during the day, though I probably wouldn't walk around there at night (but then again I wouldn't walk around anywhere at night in Bogota, or Colombia generally for that matter). It's about a 20mins taxi drive to the airport. Overall very good value or money and I would stay here again.
The hotel has a great location. The rooms are simple and have everything one needs. I never stayed at a noisier place in my life. Noise came from other travelers as well as employees. Doors and windows are so flimsy that one has to hear everything, if that was an afternoon reunion, evening chatter or the breakfast crowd, the doors of the other rooms and the normal check-in, check-out noises. Construction is so cheap that sleep besides midnight and 6 am is impossible.
Small room but very clean. The free breakfast buffet was very good especially once I realized they would custom make an omelet. Staff is helpful but speak very limited English. WiFi connection was strong. Directv was a nice plus. Only two minor complaints - the room has no AC or heating system (maybe this is typical in Bogota?) so I had to request extra blankets. The rooms facing the street (including mine) were very noisy. This hotel is about a 20-25 minute ride to the airport ... but taxi service is incredibly inexpensive.
A very nice hotel with all you need, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is great, the location is great as well and close to transmilenio stations. The price is appropriate. I'd stay there again.
