When entering a hotel you immediately realize the quality of a management. In this hotel the ratio between capable and unmotivated staff is approximately 50:50. This is a clear indication for bad management. Another sign: The maintenance of this world-class facility is lousy. No doubt, they used far too much gold for our spartan calvinistic taste. But style is highly subjective and the marble work in this hotel is unquestionable outstanding to mention just one aspect of this impressive facility. We could criticize the pebble beach or the inexistent minibar “service”. Our main reproach and reason for the average rating, however, is the bad management visible in every detail of the hotel. Windsurfing is promoted on the "The Bodrum by Paramount" webpage. At the Watersport Center, of course, there is no such equipment available. The hotel staff suggests a surf spot some 40 minute’s drive from the hotel. Unfortunately, they do not even understand that there is a problem. This is the case with every, more serious, problem you may face here. It's a shame for the 50% staff who do a great job. Special praise deserve the men and women working in the pastry department (baklava, confectionary, ice cream). The high quality of Turkish pastry is famous. But even by those high standards they do an outstanding job.

Very luxurious hotel in Bodrum area. The rooms are amazing. The lobby area is very beautiful with great lobby bar and pasticceria. Main restaurant offers food for everyone and everything. Pool and beach area has great atmosphere with snack bar that offers great range of food and drinks! I may say that you will have a great vacation in this place!

Positive: location Negative: - Service was very poor - Selective attendance by staff. A big group of polish travellers (300+)arrived on the evening of the 3. October for a corporate event. They overtook the whole hotel. Signs were put out in polish, the menu at the pool bar switched to Polish. The evening entertainment was Polish only and at the bars it was always the big travel group who was served first. One evening I had to wait until all were given there drinks. The above mentioned guests were rude to staff and these in turn rude to other guests. The pool area was not enjoyable anymore, drinks were served in plastic cups etc. - no napkins in the restaurant - monotonous dinner varieties - smelly rooms especially the sink - dirty toilet facilities in the public areas - Long waiting times for buggy’s All in all the hotel looks fab on the pictures and also looks nice on first sight. One should wonder what kind of Management leads this hotel if staff are behaving the way they do towards the majority of guests. It was our first time in Turkey and does not reconcile to experiences of friends who have been at other hotels.

I always title my reviews like the film and being well travelled I know what I’m talking about I call myself “Victor Meldrew” lol but read my reviews as I give phrase where due but in this case find it difficult and sorry It’s a book. THE GOOD The place is very opulent very clean tidy with beautiful marble statues as the photo’s show. The views are superb and our basic suite massive a walk in raindrop shower and massive bed to die for. The food cooked well the best being breakfast and lunch in a superb opulent lovely a beautiful dining room. Wine drinkable and top shelf drinks served with attentive bar staff in the lobby bar and restaurant. THE BAD As you can see the all the rooms are built on a steep peninsular and if you have any walking difficulty DON’T come here and ladies DON’t bring any high heals? Reason the buggy service is absolutely diabolical 😡 the bus stations have buttons to call a buggy but as you will read other reviews you have more chance of being bitten by a black widow spider than getting a buggy drive by. We on most occasions walked but the roads are of a cobble stone and are difficult to walk on.You can buzz for a buggy wait 20 minutes and by the time it comes other people have gathered and it’s everyone for themselves😡. I always email the hotel to ask for a room close to all amenities as I can suffer walking and guess what I didn’t this time and our room was No 4722 the second to furthest away from everything with a single path so buggies didn’t pass from both ways a dam nightmare so we walked most of the time. The pontoon was good for sunbathing but was invaded by the towel invaders being put out early by guess who as I can’t name Nationalities and the beach staff have a trick in putting more towels out early to get tips from the punters. We had a wasp and bee invasion on the pontoon and possibly beach and they were very irritating stinging several people. The beach bar staff have attitude but with several weeks to go before the resort closes you may expect this🤔 THE UGLEY I said the room was great but room housekeeping the first four days was absolutely disgusting🙀😡 Note the picture the coffee stain on the cupboard never got cleaned and not made by us🤔 We entered the room to find ONE coffee cup ONE glass THREE coffee capsules and NO milk. After calling room service it was replenished half an hour later. Day two NO milk NO water and mini bar had not been replenished😡 Day three No bath towels so me standing covered in sun oil in the middle of the room not wanting to sit in the chair or bed waiting for chamber maid to get some towels was not a pretty sight🙀 This got silly NO stupid and after complaining to management TWICE it got sorted for the rest of the holiday. This was a basic house keeping issue and we herd this was happening in other rooms all over the resort. Very few staff spoke English but this was expected as “When in Rome” You will note that very few reviews are English as not many holiday here and we didn’t speak or hear to a English person for seven of the eleven nights. Mostly German and Russian. To close this resort has in areas has 5star opulence but unfortunately 1star management. Would I come back ? Two words NO HOPE and the second is Bob🤪 It’s been a long review but a honest point of view so please message me personally for more detail if you wish. Happy holidays “Victor Meldrew”

The resort is beautifully designed and constructed. Unfortunately, the resort lack of enough staff and proper maintenance. We got nice room at the lower side of the resort with beautiful sea view, and close to the stage and swimming pools. The room was lacking of maintenance, the sink was not stable and shower door is broken (missing). The room was not ready until 6 pm and was not well prepared (missing some toiletries). The main buffet restaurant was good, but with little variety and medium quality. The swimming pool snack restaurant has little variety as most of dishes finished 4 hours before closing time. The staff was nice and helpful.

Terrible service. It takes tens of minutes to wait for the buggy, and all the staff walks and talks like they got stoned. If you start telling the staff that you are not satisfied with the quality of the service, they give rude remarks. We almost got into a fight with one of the staff. The hotel is richly made, but the service just ruins the experience.

9 days stay at Paramount Bodrum. Quite possibly the best place you’ll ever experience! Sets the benchmark by which other resorts could aspire to. Staff excellent, standards exceptional and good value throughout our stay. The food is included unless choosing to pay extra.

Firstly i just want to say dont listen to all the bad reviews you hear about this hotel either there really fussy or just delusional.. one word AMAZING!!! The hotel is so beautiful the scenery was amazing right on the coast. When me and my fiance first got there it was 4 in the morning turkish time and our travel agent who booked this hotel for us said we would need to check in at 2 in the afternoon. My fiance asked if we can have the room asap as we was tired and had hardly any sleep the receptionist was so nice he let us have our room early so we basically had a extra night. -The room was BREATHTAKING literally very clean, very spasious, amazing views, walking wardrobe, massive shower and it was just beautiful we was so happy and excited. The beds was so comfy you literally sink in. - The entertaintment at night was unbelievable and so much fun each night was different you pay to watch shows like that in london and we got to watch it all from our hotel. - The pool and beach was nice the only thing i would say is to maybe have more entertaintment round the pool sides we saw the dancers around the pool for the brazilian night and we really liked it so maybe more of that because we only saw it once since being there, the animation team come round to see if we wanted to play darts and volleyball and my fiancé went a couple of times but maybe some more different things? - The food was okay some of the stuff was nice and edible but again like i said it would of been a bit better if there was different variety each night rather than it being the same every night. but it was still nice. - The hotel caddy was very useful when it was available however there was not enough of them available and sometimes you had to wait for a while for me and my fiance wasnt a problem as we are young but for older people it might have. - The service was AMAZING everybody was so nice and whatever we wanted or any queries we had would be answered. I just want to mention a few hotel staff as these people deserve the recognition highly as there service was the best.. 1. Nisanur - Bar staff for the entertainment bit. 2. Soner - Waiter for the lunch and dinner 3. Duzgun Savas - Waiter for the lunch and dinner. 4. Ismail - Waiter 5. Seref - Waiter at Lunch. 6. Cemre - Chef for the hotel and i think the italian restaurant. 7. Firat Polat - Reception Caddy driver. 8. Lawrence - Reception/Front of house 9. Messan - Reception & Caddy Driver. Animation Team was also amazing Jana, Katya & Christina. The service from this hotel was a 5* and especially to the people ive just mentioned! OVERALL this hotel was so amazing and for the price we paid was definitely worth every penny, i would 100% recommend this hotel to everybody and i would LOVE to come back to Bodrum Paramount!

Arrived & no hassle getting our private transfer from the airport , only 20 mins to our hotel. The hotel is located along a beautiful stretch of coastline off the coast road, along with all the other large hotels. The Paramount covers a very large area of the coastline, a real positive is the size of the hotel but relatively low number of rooms given its size, so plenty of space & no hassle getting sun loungers by the pool or beach .. and none of this rubbish getting up early to reserve a good spot. The hotel is absolutely lovely & the setting is amazing, one of the nicest we have ever visited, and we have stayed in many around the globe. The evening entertainment is very professional (we would not normally bother, but because it was so good we did & enjoyed it), I think however the quality is inevitably scaled down as the season ends... Another positive for us at the moment is the temperature is perfect (mid September), hot but not unbearable and a nice breeze. The Pool snack bar for lunch - wonderful service here & v chilled, the salads & flat breads are v nice. Main restaurant has a very eclectic mix of food, with some wonderful finds, really worth experimenting with the salads / meze, and the Turkish pastries are gorgeous - gym for 10 weeks required afterwards. Special thanks to Deniz for his excellent service 👍., The hotel due to its location on a steep coastline is set on a hill, so for the less fit amongst guest, I suspect the buggy service from the various ‘buggy stops’ around the campus are welcomed, but it’s not always easy to get one. Opportunities for improvement; 1. More consistency from the barmen in terms of attitude, some are great but some are nonchalant (particularly down by the beach where they will talk amongst themselves & completely ignore you !!! , it is very frustrating for the matriarch of the bar to ‘own’ the show on their terms & not the customer - the guests pay your wages, and I know some customers are rude, but some are very humble & friendly, like us... so rather that taking to other staff focus on the customer as it it infuriating ! 2. For a 5 * hotel the tiles missing around the pool & on the pool walls should be repaired - but in the bigger scheme of things this is a petty observation. 3. When we arrived the room we were given was very ‘tatty’ .. the wooden floor was pealing up & actually dangerous / sharp in places, the toilet paint all chipped, wires coming out of the bedside lamp socket, room not clean generally e.g the glass on the balcony filthy etc... so we discussed it with Hatice Dogan (working on the guest services desk) she was excellent at resolving this & moved us to a beautiful room the next day when one became available - a big thank you to her 👍, this seams like an age a as we were in our new room for 5 nights. 4. The a la Carte restaurants in most all inclusive hotels we have stayed at have a supplement for a few special dishes... but at the Paramount you have to pay a fee to attend the restaurant & then more or less everything on the menu attracts a charge - so rather than relaxing enjoying your meals, you are trying to orientate yourself on menu and charges, which is a great shame as the restaurants are lovely - we ate at the BBQ / Turkish on our first night and the Sea food restaurant (set in a stunning location)a few nights into our holiday, but cancelled the Japanese restaurant because of the above... 5. I don’t understand why given the income for the hotel they do not invest in a few more drivers for the shuttle buses, which will sit idle without a driver yet there are people waiting for transportation for ages, particularly in the heat of the day with longer distances / with hills to travel. So in summary a lovely hotel, set in a stunning location & very chilled. But I Have not given it an excellent score because of the ‘opportunities’ listed above. As always it would be so nice if the hotel management team took on board the feedback as this could be an exceptional hotel, but I suspect there is a cultural barrier to resolve with some of the shortfalls. More info - definitely worth doing the following; Trip to Bodrum for shopping & dinner late afternoon / evening, when it is cooler , bus service from security is excellent - only 1 € each and buses very regularly. A boat trip for the day (don’t forget to take a snorkel) c €40 Turkish bath & massage - but do your research so you go to a decent place, the one we went to was ok, but I am sure there are more authentic ones to go to.

I went there as a wedding planner and as a guest. Fell in love with the hotel, the great facilities and the amazing staff! Highly recommended when in Bodrum. Hakan and Batuhan from their management team were stars. Definitley going back again
