This is an old hotel, but reasonably well done up. We strugled a bit With too high temperature in Our room, but other than that the room was reasonalby spacious and well equiped. Staff was good and breakfast was a pleasant surprice. I would stay here again.
Radisson are Radisson. An OK hotel with a good breakfast buffet. Parking close by and nice staff. If you stay at a Radisson you will not be surprised. The standard and service is very equal..recommended
Right in the center of town, great views and delicious buffet breakfast. I can absolutely recommend this hotel. There is a great skybar on the 13th floor and a fancy Asian restaurant on the ground floor (Ohma).
This hotel has an excellent location being really close to the airport. It has comfortable rooms and the staff give excellent customer service. I would happily stay here again if I was on business or pleasure.
I stayed here for business in April 2017. The hotel is very nicely located in the city of Bodø, with a spectacular view in all directions if you get one of the higher floors. The rooms are very modern and nicely decorated. The only real negative point here is that the room I had was extremely tiny, I could guess not much more than 8sqm. There was space for the bed and that's it. I think this was the tiniest hotel room I ever stayed in. I assume the property has different room sizes, but for a standard room that I booked it seemed a little bit small...
In a perfect location by the harbour & close to the town center. We had a comfortable stay & enjoyed evenings in the Rooftop cocktail bar with amazing views. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff who also helped to make our stay here memorable.
I was very impressed with the service-minded staff, the business room I had equipped with it's own Nespresso machine, bathrobe and the softest bed & pillows😉 The meals were fantastic - details like freshly pressed orange juice and custom made scrambled & bacon. Not to mention proper coffee☺ My conference was in the same hotel so it was as convenient as can be!
I usually stay here whilst travelling with work, on my way back home.. A lot of the rooms have been renovated but most are of a high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast\restaurant is of a very good standard too. The views from the hotel are great, weather and time of day permitting.. There is access to a huge gym and the bar on the top floor gives panoramic views of Bodø and the surrounding area. The pricing is a bit up and down but if you get a room for around 1000 kroners for a double then its a good buy.
This is the only high-rise hotel in Bodø. It is also one of the best. Room was well designed, apart from not being able to open a window except only slightly, which kept me from cooling down the room enough to sleep comfortably. I had to take the down comforter out of its cover and sleep with just the cover. Apart from this, the bed was very comfortable, the TV great for viewing. No separate shower in the bathroom, which I prefer, but otherwise good standard. The free breakfast offered is one of the best in Norway. Standard buffet with hot and cold selections, but they also offer a breakfast menu that includes delicious omelettes, eggs & bacon, and french toast (served with real maple syrup--although do ask for extra syrup). Had fish and chips in the evening, which was delicious. Homemade bernaise sauce and well prepared fries. Very friendly and very professional staff behind the desk. And there is an extensive kiosk store with a big variety of magazines and snacks in the building (as well as a wellness centre and other facilities). Location is smack dab in the middle of town. Price is above average, but if price were not an object, I'd stay here more often.
A flight diversion to BOO airport had us booking this hotel at the last min fearing the airline would put us up at a poor hotel or not have any place to put us. Everything from the friendly check-in, great suggestion of the front desk staff on a place to eat to their willingness to help us with a few arrangements due to the flight diversion, to the great view at the rooftop bar and nice room made it a great stay. There are several great businesses inside the hotel that can be helpful on cold/snowy days, including a convenience store, hair salon, spa and even a bowling alley. Lots of restaurants and shops within a few blocks of the hotel. I'd return again and recommend this hotel to friends.
