I visit around 40-50 Hotels a year. After some bad experiences last week, it was very comforting to come to a nice Hotel with nice rooms, nice bath, good breakfast and comfortable beds. Just as I expected from a Radisson member. Highly recommended
very good dinning in a new restaurant. Well skilled waiters and normal prices.Good sea view for the balkony around the restaurant. Tables outdoor and indoor in summerseason. the best outdoor place in town
We dropped by Bodo as it was the end of a train ride from Trondheim. At the train station, there is a taxi stand outside. Good thing there was, as the office personnel leaves early on Saturdays, It was a 10 minute ride. The girl from the front office was nice. There is a convenience store right inside the hotel. We were on the 8th or 9th floor. Avoid the floor near the bar on top of the hotel as you can hear the noise coming from the top.
Great location in the town center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms seemed newly renovated, but mine was a bit small and didn't have any view. What I was lacking the most was an extra touch, but all in all an enjoyable stay.
A general upturn has made Radisson sail up as perhaps Bodö's best hotel option if you want to use any of the international hotel chains.Basically you get what you pay for. There is no major distance but the hotel is as central as you could wish for.Restaurant offer crockery and modern food in a contemporary setting.
I stayed in the Radisson Blu for two weeks during a business trip to Bodo. It was a great stay. The hotel is situated next to the harbor and is steps away from the top restaurants and bars in Bodo. The rooms were clean and modern, offering wonderful views of the terrain and water surrounding the city. Best of all was the breakfast. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts that I've ever experienced.
The hotel is located at the harbour line and next to the concert hall. It is easy to reach by bus, taxi and ferry boat. The hotel is mostly in the style of the 90th, but rooms, restaurant, and bar have been refurbished nicely. The 13th floor bar offers a great panorama view over the entire city. The room was very quiet and comfortable and with a great view. The food was made from good ingredients and well seasoned (breakfast (included), lunch, dinner). Very practical is that there are a small shop (Narvesen) and a gym (Stamina) in the same building just outside the lobby.
This hotel was located at the harbor and five minutes from the ferry terminal for travel to the Lofoten Islands. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had a car, and to park in the lot beside the hotel would have been a bit pricey, so we parked on the street across from the hotel - free overnight, and very inexpensive for the hour we needed to feed the meter the next morning.
Radisson in Bodø is together with Scandic Havet the best choice for a stay in Bodø. Radisson is older than Scandic but has undergone a upgrade thats really noticable. The reception, common areas, restuarant, and the rooftop bar has been refurbished along with most of the rooms. I found it very new and appealing. The rooms were clean and the service great. Breakfast was large and the choices were many. You can also order eggs cooked to order, even this is not advertised. The hotel is in the middle of Bodø ( almost everything is), I have stayed at the Scandic before but would probably choose Radisson next time.
The hotel is situated close to the Harbour in the middle of the centre of the city. The bar on the Top floor give a fantastic view over the city of Bodø and souroundings. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are Nice and clean With all equipment we needed. And best of all - it was a bath tub. Good parking poosibilities outside the hotel. If you want cheaper parking it is also possible nearby. Breakfast was also very good.
