Everything was so comfortable, clean and welcoming; the cupboards well stocked for cooking at home, and Cari was easily available for a few questions and recommendations, and the VIEW OF THE OCEAN was incredible. Loved walking across the street to easy beach access, and sipping wine on the front deck. We had an amazing stay!

A 5 star experience across the board! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon. The hot tub was the perfect way to end each fun filled day...and we were sad to leave the beautiful beachfront views.

We had an amazing stay with enjoying a magnificent oceanfront view everyday from dawn to sunset. Great amenities which made our stay so comfortable and wonderful. Cari the host was amazingly great, making our journey in Bodega Bay a memorable lifetime experience. We are already planning to come back in July. Thanks again Cari!

The beach was steps away from the house with and unobstructed view of the sunset! It was a beautiful house with all amenities necessary for an extended stay. We will return!

The house is incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed. The view is spectacular too, we loved just staring out at the ocean. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well. Cari was very responsive, a great host.

We wanted a retreat to get away from the every day and do some writing. We ended up with a second honeymoon! STBH is a peaceful, beautiful home right across from the beach. While everyone else was driving up the 1 to find a spot to watch the sunsets, we cozied up on the large deck or inside the living room with picture windows and watched the most spectacular sunsets. When not writing, we found that we were so close to Redwoods forests, vineyards and of course the gorgeous coast. We were able to reconnect with each other and with nature. Will be back!

The views are awesome. Beds are comfortable, bathroom looks brand new, the living area was relaxing and there is a Pac Man game! Lots of puzzles and books to keep you busy when you aren't watching the ocean. The deck and backyard were nice. The kitchen was well stocked and the day I left new counters and a sink were being installed. The host is very responsive and has thoughtfully setup the house with everything you need. We will be going back!

We highly recommend this property. It is a beautiful, well-appointed house. And the location, right across from Carmet Beach, is ideal. We loved being able to walk across to a magnificent view of the coves. And Cari, the host, is extremely helpful. We will be back!

Our host was great. She knew a lot about the area and gave great ideas. We picked this location for the view and it didn’t disappoint. The views were amazing. We also loved the hot tub the fire pit table and the lounge chairs. There were many extras that made the stay that much better. Would definitely come back to this awesome place.

We had an amazing time at Spare Time Beach House! We got there just before a huge storm hit. We were able to enjoy from the perfect views out of the whole front of the house. We stayed cozy by the fireplace and made yummy food in the newly renovated and spacious kitchen loaded with many gadgets. The whole home was inviting and cozy. Thai is the first time my husband and I both slept well all four nights on a bed away from home. Our pets Olive and Sage really enjoyed our time as well, and we were able to go on hikes and visit the beach just across the street. We had a wonderful time and plan on going back. Cari was so responsive about a question we had and communicated with us thoroughly and timely. Definitely coming back to stay!

Everything about this place is thoughtful and amazing! Amazing for couple of small family with a dog get away. Even the beach across the street is dog and kids friendly. We are so coming back!

My husband and I and our two dogs stayed at Spare Time for a couple nights to celebrate just getting married. The views were amazing, the house was beautiful, and the backyard was perfect for the dogs. The owner, Cari, was such a pleasure to work with. She really thought of everything that could be needed and more to make guests feel right at home. We can’t wait to go back!
