The toilet tank wasn’t filling so we had to use a cooler to fill it. The refrigerator freezer also stopped working. It was a Sunday so the owner didn’t want to call a plumber. It’s a beautiful place. I just guess I had bad luck.

Our 58th anniversary get away in Bodega

This was an older motel that has been very nicely remodeled and updated. It has a lot of charm. that is so missing these days. It was very clean and quiet with a partial view of the Bay. There is a wonderful peaceful outside seating area with a picnic table for viewing the marina. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The is a gem of a find in this area for the price. So close to some great crab sandwiches, fresh halibut/chips, and sea food. We were able to watch humpback whales just north of town all afternoon. What a relaxing and quiet break. Plenty of parking right in front or our room. This motel is off Hwy 1, but also so quiet. We only were passing through for one night, but we will be back for a longer stay.
