The overnight stay in this hotel was included in an organised, special rated trip and hopes were not too high. Just as well, place is very dated, lot of furniture, carpets etc. damaged and worn out, breakfast not worth mentioning (but then again: French b/f's rarely are :-)) but hey, the room was clean, the bed more comfortable then first impression would make you think and we could have a nice shower before setting out again the next day. So it did suit the purpose !
Might have met expectations if we'd paid the €40 price being offered today, however we paid €189 (not including breakfast!!) for a team on a business trip due to trade exhibition inflation of prices. Don't make the same mistake. Rooms smell of cigarettes and are basic. The bathrooms are aging badly with mildew ceilings. The only service requested was a taxi and it never arrived. The price we paid was criminal.
We came here for 5nights. The room was ok, very basic but that didn't bother us. However we had 2 power cuts and the door didn't shut properly unless you slammed it! Staff didn't really like us coming home late (not really for young people). Location was good, close to the metro and a really nice park behind the hotel.
A 4 day trip to Paris with my friend we didnt want to spend too much on a hotel and as we drove it didnt matter for the couple of extra miles to centre Paris. We honestly expected for the hotel to be worse by reading the reviews,. The room overall was clean , had air con which was a plus, daily cleaning service but didnt want people coming into the room. The staff were a little unpleasant didnt want to really speak english, the room card keys were terrible they didnt work hardly ever we had to keep going down to reception to get them sorted again, french tv fully working, the bathroom was fine, fully working wifi with partly disconections, free parking, the hotel is right by the motorway but not noisy, about 25minute drive to centre Paris with no traffic , but the traffic is terrible. over all its a good hotel just to lay a head at night.
Me and my girlfriend booked this hotel like 1 month ago. Because of high prices in Paris we decided do go a bit out of centre of Paris. Even on photos this hotel looks very bad but when you arrive there it looks even more bad. Very dirty, unfriendly staff with very poor English (Or even no English), furnitures in rooms are half broken, toilet bowl had not enought power to pulls water, rooms stink, you can feel cigaretes, breakfast was terrible, only one single slice of bread (dont expect additional) and small jam and butter. When we sit down to eat receptor has said my girlfriend you have exactly 5 min to finish breakfast. I never seen this in my whole life and we travel a lot. In Bobigny you have not much to see because its dirty, full of covered muslim womens it looks like muslim part of town. I will never again visit this hotel not even surrounding of it.
Far away from Paris. Dreadful, rough, area. Dirty hotel. No decent food. Over priced because of Paris Air Show. Normally a room would cost 60EURO. We paid 180EUR. Terrible value for money. Ordered a wine at the 'bar' and got a half full glass with a fly in it.
Poor Location, rough area, miles from anywhere. The Food on offer for the evening meal was luke warm and looked like it had been prepared the previous day. Beds were tiny, rooms had Zero facilities, carpets were filthy. Completely overpriced just because it was the Paris Air Show. You can easily get much better rooms much closer to Paris for the same price, if not less. We tried to order a taxi the night before but were told to just wait and order one half an hour before we needed it the next morninbg. When we came to order the next day, we were told no taxi's before 11am. Dreadful Service.
IF you are in Paris with a car AND need to have easy access to charles de gaulle or the parc des expositions AND don't mind a very unhelpful attitude from the evening manager, you could look at this place and stay for the low cost. For everyone else, please move on.
I Looked at the photos and didn't expect much but it still didn't full fill. I stayed with a mate on the second floor and had other friends in other rooms... Their rooms were the same to mine. However the first floor rooms seemed to be equal to the pictures on the websites. As for my room. The bathroom had stripes of what looked like mould or poo... My mattress had spots of blood on it and the same went for my friends bed sheets. We looked under the bed once and one of the bed frame panels had been snapped which didn't make a very comfy bed. I would definitely NOT recommended this hotel to any others. Even the lights on the sign didn't all work properly. The location wasn't the best either. I know it was in Paris but it still should of been half decent. Like I said I wasn't expecting much and I'm generally not one to complain but it didn't full-fill any of mine or my friends expectations. I hope this review helps others in need of advice.
Okay, so first, who am I? Well, I work within the travel industry and I spend an average of 4 out of every 7 days in hotels. I generally work in the lower segments of the market, staying in hostels although 7 or 8 times per year, I will stay in 3 and 4 star accommodation. Okay, so do I know anything about Paris? Hmmmm... I know Paris better than I know my home town, I would not be too concerned if my sat nav was to malfunction. I can give you a fully guided tour of the city, starting at Porte Maillot and finishing at the Trocadero in time to see the tower flashing. I even understand "prioritee a droit". Okay, so lets move on. The location of this hotel. It is not too good if you are looking for a "base to explore Pairs". It is outside of the Peripherique, it is in a residential area. It is far from the centre of Paris. If you are looking for a cheap hotel near to Disney, this will most likely be worth considering and if ya going to Parc Asterix, then definitely consider this hotel. Okay, so is it clean? Well I see many people complaining about the reception, but the reception is next to the car park and the guests . The room was completely clean, the bathroom was spotless, the aroma was superb. The noise? What noise? The double glazing is complete! The staff? Parisienne. Charming? Oui. Helpful? Oui. French? OUI! Oh, by the way, learning words such as Oui, Non, Merci and Sil'vous'plait will be most helpful! Not to mention "Bonjour" and "Bonsoir" The breakfast? I have stayed in sooooo many places which provide Continental Breakfast, but here you will find Jambon, marmalade and croissants without limit!!! The value? without fault. Would I stay here again? Yes, without doubt... Would I stay here with my girlfriend.... Yes.
