A recently built, luxurious 3* Visit Scotland graded cottage which is wheelchair accessible, including ground floor bedrooms and accessible toilet and wet room.
Nestled in the Cairngorms National Park the cottage makes a perfect base from which to enjoy the awe inspiring natural beauty of the wild Highland landscape. The area is perfect for everything from a family holiday in the countryside, a ski or climbing adventure to a romantic weekend getaway. While the cottage itself is also a haven for wildlife as it is surrounded by woodland and located just off a single-track road with red squirrels, birds, and deer visiting the attractive gardens.

The popular town of Boat of Garten is close by with excellent restaurants and pubs, the area is surrounded by bike trails and quiet roads suitable for mountain and road bikes with several bike hire shops in the local area. Other attractions locally are the Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig, 2 km zip wire at Kincraig and Landmark Adventure Centre at nearby Carrbridge.

The cottage is 25 miles from Inverness and is a great base for joining the spectacular North Coast 500 route around the north of Scotland.

Like a Tardis!

Much more spacious on the inside than it appears on the outside. Clean, warm, welcoming, good location, good communication from caretaker, well presented. Unfortunately, the 2 small fridges are not adequate for 10 people, and the kitchen was a bit shy on the glasses and cutlery front, but other than that, it was an absolutely great house. The mezzanine level is a really useful extra living space, without being completely separate from the rest of the house.
