Excellent place, wish we could have stayed longer. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff (receptionist rattled off the Dong Hoi train schedule when we asked about getting to the train). They packed us breakfast for our journey off too!
This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was professional, friendly and very accommodating. Truly, we received some of the best service we've experienced anywhere in Southeast Asia. The hotel is set on the shores of a gorgeous lake. We loved having a glass of wine up on the deck gazing at the lake, watching the fire and listening to the sounds of the jungle. The food was superb, the kitchen is immaculate, it's no wonder the luxury tours stop here for lunch. The stuff arranged everything for us from tours to our train tickets on to the man. Very helpful completely fluent in English and happy to serve whenever possible. We especially enjoyed our time using the hotels kayaks to go around the lake and look at wildlife where we saw birds, fish and heard monkeys.
