Sky High Lodge - A View Like No Other!!! - Blue Ridge, GA

The SKY is the limit for this stunning luxury cabin perched mountainside in the famed Aska Adventure Area!  At Sky High Lodge, you can enjoy incredible views from this cabin's almost literal mountain top location...You can even see the beautiful Lake Blue Ridge weave its way around the mountains below!  This cabin is a sight within itself: from impeccable decor to an abundance of amenities (including eight large flat screen TVS!) this luxury cabin combines functionality & technology to make your getaway one of a kind!

We have tried to think of everything to ensure you have a great vacation.  The Master king bedroom is on the main level when you walk in and has a full bathtub, separate shower and double vanities.  There is also a 1/2 bath on the main floor.  This is also where the kitchen is located along with the dining and living area.  There is also a side pantry/bar/coffee nook area.  Outside this level you have a full wrap around porch that has outdoor dining table, outdoor gas grill, and living space area with outdoor wood burning fire place with a flat screen TV above.  

Basement floor we have another king bedroom with separate tub/shower combo.  There is also a fold out couch in the living area space in front of the indoor gas fireplace.  Recreational area includes a pool table and mini bar area as well as a high top table and chairs.  The full-size washing machine and dryer are also located on this floor.  Outside you have another living area with a wood burning fireplace & flat screen TV above.  This is also a wrap around deck with outdoor 8 person jaccuzi/hot tub.

Upstairs you have 2 bedrooms.  One is a queen bed over queen bed bunk room with a twin bed in the loft above the bathroom.  There is a full separate bathroom for both upstairs rooms with a shower/tub combo.  The other bedroom is a King bed with a twin in the loft above the bathroom.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 4.5 bathrooms, and a balcony. There's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. The bathroom offers a jetted tub and hair dryers. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a sofa bed.

We had a get away with friends to ring in the New Year. The host went out of his way to arrange for us to have early access the day of arrival that we had not requested, but very much appreciated. Everything was very clean and the view is spectacular. Firewood was pre-delivered. We had a time finding the switch to the kitchen disposal, but eventually located under the sink. Everyone loved the place and the host was very helpful with any questions that we had. Great time and place.

The view was amazing as was the cabin. I love the fact that we had some cold weather since I lived in Florida and don’t see that very often. It was very peaceful. Especially enjoyed the outside fireplace where the kids made some more and we watched football all bundled up. My only concern was a driveway. It is extremely steep. Wasn’t sure my car would make it, but it did. Was absolutely worth it.

Incredible View in a Cozy Cabin

We had a great time at the (appropriately named) Sky High Lodge, and Ron was excellent to work with! The views from the cabin were incredible, and the layout was very cozy and the gas fireplace was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the bedrooms all had their own bathrooms which was very nice. I would highly recommend!

Needs attention

Enjoyed but the property is in rough shape. Fence up driveway is falling apart. Two chairs by main floor fireplace are broken - need replaced. Hot tub cover needs replaced. Lighting inside throughout is pretty bad. Distribution of heat is terrible room by room. No tissues on hand. Cue sticks at pool table in bad shape. Hardly any chalk at pool table.

Fourth of July retreat

Enjoyed a restful stay in a beautiful mountain top location. The driveway is steep, so be prepared for an energetic walk if you want to see the neighborhood on foot.

Great Getaway!

We stayed at this cabin for a couples trip. This property was beautiful, exactly as pictured. It was spacious, there was plenty of room for everyone, and the view from the balcony was breathtaking.

Four couples stayed in this lovely cabin. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath. The outdoor fireplaces and hot tub were favorites. Full size kitchen and large table that seated 8. We enjoyed the train ride, too.

Perfect Mountain Lodge With Amazing Views

The house was perfect for a weekend trip with some friends and their kids. Plenty of living space and lots of porch space to relax with the views. We loved being able to sit out by the fireplace and watch football. The owners were accommodating with a travel change request and anything we needed while there. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent Property, Quiet, and Relaxing!

My wife and I have rented now over 12 different cabins in the general Blue Ridge area. Our stay at the Sky High Lodge was one of the best! First - the cabin is very quiet and relaxing with an outstanding view over the lake and extended mountain ranges. No cabins right beside it. Lots of trees and space separating the next cabin. Very clean and well kept. Very well stocked. A ton of very large 65 inch smart TV's everywhere. We like watching sporting events, so that was easy to do at night. Nicely decorated with comfortable beds. One night was nice to grill steaks on the gas grill and then light a fire with the outside fireplace and watch a ball game on the big TV over the outside fireplace. Another cool setup is just below that deck is the hot tub with a fireplace and TV right beside it. Pretty quick drive to downtown and the Blue Ridge Lake. Ron was very responsive with a couple of our questions. He was very easy to work with on the reservations and we had easy access to the cabin. Ron - you made our repeat list. We will definitely rent again from you when we have a chance. Thank you!

Best view in Blue Ridge

Amazing views of Lake Blue Ridge and surrounding mountains. Cabin was well appointed with plenty of cookware, utensils, and dish ware - even for foodies like my family. Bedrooms are large and all have extremely comfortable bedding and furnishings. Plenty of space, very clean, and easy communication with owner. The drive up the mountain is well paved but quite steep. Once to the top, you’ll know it was all worth the trip!

Relaxing get away

What a lovely property, view and stay. Ron was great at staying in touch and making sure he was available for questions. The home was more than we could have asked for and the views to die for. 100% recommend this property for so rest and relaxation while still near enough to town.

Amazing getaway

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The pictures somehow do not do the view justice. I am also somewhat of a neat freak and the cabin was extremely clean - cleaner then most hotels I’ve visited. We also had an issue with our car and the owner was very responsive, helping us to arrange a repair truck which really made a potentially difficult situation much easier. My family had an amazing time and we would 100% return!

We had the BEST time! It was torture to leave! The cabin…and view is stunning! Ron was a wonderful host. He delivered firewood and was able to offer us an check-in. We loved waking up here each day to the amazing view. The cabin was big and spacious. It met all of our needs. It is a quick 15-minute drive into Blue Ridge. We would definitely stay here again. The owner was so responsive, really nice, and helpful. The beds were the best sleep I have ever had on vacation.
