Pleasantly Pleased

Cleanliness is the absolute most important thing to us. The room was CLEAN. No funky smells, clean linens, no stray hairs from previous guests. Room smelled freshly cleansed with bleach. This was our first time taking a chance on a motel and was so glad we did. You can tell the owners want to have a sense of community there too. They have a nice fire pit area and a lounge for happy hour. Bed was comfortable, looked updated on the inside, staff was friendly. Would absolutely stay again.

The room had been redone and was in pretty good shape. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was very loud and hard to control to keep at a decent temperature. The tv did not work very well. We were told it would be a very good breakfast and bacon was even mentioned, however the breakfast had a few eggs and no bacon. Basically there was no breakfast and no attendant. Very disappointing!

The stay was nice. Renovations were still in process in the lobby building. Rooms were renovated and clean (although there was a slight musty smell) with new bedding, furniture etc. Staff was friendly, the breakfast was not available on Sunday. The motel was quiet other than noisy air units (these hopefully will be updated with ongoing renovations). Overall nice stay, and bargain for the $$.

There is something charming about this location. The rooms are well decorated and clean, the beds are excellent, the towels are nice, yet time has made its presence known. The TV has apps and not closed circuit, a big plus for me. Breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, etc. I would prefer a quiet A/C unit in the bedroom.
