BLACK BEARS CROSSING: PET FRIENDLY, COZY CABIN WITH HOT TUB IN BLUE RIDGE, GA

***BRAND NEW LISTING***
If you’re looking for a charming, cozy, pet friendly mountain retreat where you can relax after a day full of fun and adventure then look no further…our little hidden gem is exactly what you need. It’s an idyllic space to relax, recharge and reflect and become one with nature.

Picture yourself stepping into a charming log cabin, designed around a giant captivating storybook fireplace that even Goldilocks and the 3 bears would love. Our cabin is nestled in the delightful Cherry Log Community and sits between Blue Ridge and Ellijay, perfectly situated for both convenience and a serene, private setting. Grab a coffee or tea and step outside onto the private rear deck and bask in the morning sun, rising above the lush forest ridgeline. Enjoy grilling and/or dining on the back deck surrounded by nature, relaxing in the hot tub, sitting on the back deck or around the fire pit on a crisp, cold day or night enjoying some hot cocoa or drinks with friends.

Our small but cozy 996 sq ft cabin includes all the comforts of home. We offer a fully stocked kitchen equipped with microwave, oven and stove top, full fridge, dishwasher, toaster, cooking utensils, pots and pans, tableware, glassware, silverware, both a Keurig and coffee maker with filters and blender. Our large dining area has a large table with 2 benches, plenty of room to enjoy dinner and play games with friends or family. Our large living room is flooded with high gable windows, all wood interior throughout, a massive stone chimney and fireplace with a gentle staircase that gracefully wraps around the chimney leading you to a spacious loft tucked away behind the rock wall, providing an intimate hideaway which also includes its own private bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is located downstairs with a full bathroom located right outside of it. We offer free Wi-Fi and internet through Starlink for your use with smart TVs located in the living room and both bedrooms.

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY** Roads to Cabin: Roads leading to the cabin are mountain curvy gravel and paved roads in some areas. If you are not used to mountain roads they are narrow and can be a little intimidating at first but are part of the adventure of getting to a cabin in the woods. Gravel roads can get challenging with a lot of rain or snow if you are not use to them so please be cautious. They really do change depending on the weather. We do not recommend a low riding vehicle. If you are not use to driving on mountain roads, we would highly recommend a large SUV or 4-wheel drive vehicles but cars have made it to the cabin without a problem. Please take into consideration weather conditions when deciding on a vehicle to take. The gravel roads on the way to the cabin are graded to smooth them out often by the community but with lots of the rain the gravel can wash away a bit causing the gravel roads to be very bumpy in some areas, when the roads get like that it’s best to put your car in sport mode if you do not have 4 wheel drive and drive quicker through the bumps so that you can ride over the bumps and not get stuck. Please use caution, the roads are narrow in some areas and cars can be coming in the opposite direction. I highly recommend driving to the cabin while there is still some daylight out so you can see the roads and surroundings a bit better until you know your way around. Once you are familiar with the roads it won’t be a problem.

It's a beautiful cozy mountain top cabin that was decorated for Christmas and felt like home. We spent the entire weekend there enjoying each other's company in the cabin and never felt bored. The host's are very nice and attentive people and we will definitely be staying here again.

This cabin was the perfect get away for me and my husband. There is other cabins around but far away enough to feel alone. Very quiet and peaceful. The roads getting up can be a little intimidating, but once we did it a few times we were fine! The cabin was very cozy with a great view and the host were so attentive and helpful with any questions. Would def recommend

A beautiful, clean property ready for check in. Our hosts were amazing. As if we had known them for years. The hot tub was go to go but we never took advantage of it. Nonetheless it was ready. We have ventured to this area every fall for at least 20 years and Black Bears Crossing will certainly be memorable both for the cabin and our hosts.

We have visited the mountains a number of times and stayed in cabins that were "ok"; they served their purpose. Our stay at Black Bears Crossing, however, exceeded our expectations. We are a family of four and the cabin was perfect for us. What we loved most was the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the cabin. From the smores station with marshmallow roasting sticks that came in very handy ... to the hot chocolate and mugs ready for the kids to use the next morning, we felt so welcomed and cared for. The bottle of wine and gift for my husband's birthday was so thoughtful and the extra toiletries were key because two of us forgot our toothbrushes! This cabin had it all. It smelled like Christmas when we walked in and the soft blankets and comfortable beds and furniture made the cabin a home away from home, even if it was only for a short while. My kids exclaimed, "This is the best cabin we've ever stayed in!" and I agree. The hosts were super attentive and responsive and that made our stay all the more comfortable. We hope to return again!

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at black bears crossing for her 40th birthday. Our host went above and beyond expectations to ensure she had a wonderful birthday getaway. She was welcomed when we walked in to a birthday card, orchid, and bottle of wine. The house was spotless. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. One thing we were excited to find upon arrival was the newly installed outdoor fire pit area. The weather was cool, so we got to enjoy the fire pit area, the fireplace inside, and the hot tub on the deck enjoying our wine while watching the sunset! The location is extremely convenient to both blue ridge and elijay. Needless to say we had a wonderful weekend at black bears crossing and will be back in the future. If you are looking at booking black bears crossing, just do it, you will not be disappointed!
