The cabin was so cozy. Loved that it was decorated for Christmas. Kitchen was stocked very well. A suggestion would be to supply a broom and dust pan.Maybe a mat at front door inside to catch dirt from shoes.

We had a great stay at Grey Fox Cabin for our anniversary trip. Everything was clean and fresh as shown online. The cabin was stocked very well with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and easy to contact. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and the fall scenery of the beautiful trees and mountains. We recommend this cabin to anyone. We loved our stay and would come back again.

A perfect location for activities in Blowing Rock, Boone, and all the wonderful things to do in the area. The cabin was well appointed and beautifully done. We were traveling with a friend and the cabin splits so each side has a master bedroom - perfect for two couples. We were there just as the leaves were starting to turn and sitting on the deck was the perfect ending to each day. A choice cabin.

Everything was exactly as listed, Boone was right around the corner without feeling like you were staying in town. I chose this cabin specifically for being dog friendly, and it was perfect for a week long hiking get away. Hoping to add this cabin to our annual family vacation.
This deer we had to stop for on a trip to the store from the cabin.

Very nice getaway. Inside areas were very clean and orderly. Had a very good experience. Only downsides:Couldn’t completely remove cover from hot tub since the lifting mechanism is broken. Front and back porches were somewhat littered with tree degree and many cob webs.

Great place!

We loved the mountain decor in this cabin! Very quiet neighborhood nestled on the mountainside in between Boone and Blowing Rock, NC. It is located close to the two towns and near all of the hiking trails.

Nice stay

This was a beautiful property. Clean, and ready. Would have been 5 stars except a couple of minor issues. Back door didn't unlock, front screen was taped so it didn't lock you out, and the jets in the tub didn't work.

Conveniently located; comfy cabin

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend and very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in a very convenient location to the slopes and is close enough to restaurants and stores, if needed. Would stay here again for sure.

Cool Cabin

Great location in a little neighborhood in the woods. Quick drive to Boone or Blowing Rock. The cabin has a nice simple layout with decent sized rooms so you don’t feel cramped. Enjoyed having outdoor fire in the fire pit while it was snowing.

Beautiful Home and Perfect Location

We came in for a quick holiday with my son, d-in-law, 10 month old grandson and our pups. This home was amazing. Decorated for Christmas, beautiful and well appointed. Didn’t need a thing other than our groceries. We had the best stay and would highly recommend this host

Very comfortable & well stocked

Loved the holiday decor - our home wasn’t even fully decorated yet so it was well appreciated. Very cozy & cute. Well stocked with spices and other cooking needs, s’mores ingredients, and games — didn’t need a thing. It was tough getting down the hill one AM with the car but the Jeep was fine in lowest gear.

Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Met family for Thanksgiving! Grey Fox was centrally located and easy to find. It was quiet and peaceful even thought it was in a lovely neighborhood. Super clean and well stocked.

Helene interrupted.

We didn’t get to visit and vacation at this beautiful property due to Hurricane Helene coming to the western NC mountains and causing complete devastation. Our prayers are with all those affected by this storm.

Cabin in Blowing Rock

Lovely stay at Grey Fox Cabin! Centrally located between Blowing Rock and Boone so convenient to everything. Saw deer roaming around many days. Nice with 2 king primary rooms, 2 large bathrooms and tvs in both bedrooms! Excellent!

Lovely mountain getaway

This cabin is clean and well appointed and great layout for sharing with another couple. We didn’t cook but the kitchen seemed to have everything you would need. The washer and dryer are an added plus. Only negative would be there were only enough towels for one each (and only one hand towel for 2 people). Not a deal breaker but not ideal. Would definitely recommend this place!
