The suites are very charming and have that colonial feel. After a few years of staying at a traditional hotel when visiting Bloomington, my wife and I decided to give the Century Suites a try. It was not only cheaper to stay here, but we got a bigger living area to enjoy and spread out. It was definitely a great value for our dollar. The suite was clean and and had that warm atmosphere with the beautiful old hardwood flooring and period matching furniture. The grounds were beautiful and even though there was plenty of construction going on on the adjacent properties at the time, it was really quiet at night. It was a unique and pleasurable experience. We will definitely be staying at the suites the next time we come to Bloomington!

We stayed in a condo. It was spacious, and an excellent value for the price. The staff was very attentive. We were originally in an upstairs unit with an outside stairway. The stair did not seem completely safe, so we asked to be moved, since we were staying there a week. We were given a downstairs unit the next day, with no extra charge.

Felt blike staying at hone rather than hotel. Pet friendly.

All in all a great property. I can’t say anything badZ it was a pleasant experience, and I tend to be a bit of a pill at times.

One toilet was dirty. Tub had water and hair in it.

Cute little village-like layout. Interior is clean. Shower is terrible--a faint spray. And the water doesn't get hot.

Loved the property and rental layout. Very clean and cozy place! Will be returning!

Relax setting. Nice staff. Away from down town, but close to shops. I would recommend it.

We were traveling with 6 and the unit was plenty big and comfortable. And the property is absolutely stunning. Would definitely stay there again.

Liked the size of the room and the amenities. Was only there for a few hours, wish I could have stayed longer.

SPOTLESS homes, and excellent customer service! This is by far the nicest place in Bloomington. It's not on the main drag, so it's quiet and comfy. I've been staying here for years, and I've yet to find a speck of dust anywhere. The value you receive by paying less and getting double the space of large chains in town is unreal. Sometimes I feel guilty for not using the whole apartment when it's only me! And now they allow pets with a small fee, so I'll keep that in mind when I want to make it a family trip.

Very cute property and the rooms were spacious included a kitchen and two sinks.

spacious room very clean quiet private we didn't get to light the fireplace but it looked so inviting

Roomy hotel with large living room, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom; clean; very nice staff and easy checkin; Nice continental breakfast; reasonably priced; fairly outdated furnishings and decor

Very nice small hotel arrangement with house type set up. Graet gazobo for relaxing and nice grounds. Very polite and helpful staff.

Near Lake Monroe and Bloomington, you have a surprising cottage neighborhood with brick sidewalks and ivy gardens. It almost seems like a neighborhood from the past. The "rooms" are really duplexes with an upstairs bedroom and downstairs kitchenette and large living room (and extra bedding). Perfect for a one night or weeklong stay. The lake provides outdoor recreation, while there are shops and city attractions nearby.

We were delightfully surprised at the complete accommodation that we had--far beyond what we had expected. It was a complete condo/apartment with kitchen/dining facilities. The ambiance of the entire "campus" was quaint and welcoming. We enjoyed a picnic lunch in the Gazebo while awaiting our room which was being readied for us. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Certain physical limitations required our being on ground level. They made that work for us--even last minute! The staff bend over backwards to make us feel at home and that our needs were important to them.

We are glad that you were happy with your stay. Some of our staircases (which lead up to the entry door of the second floor suites) are outdoor staircases. There are other second floor suites that have indoor staircases. We have recently performed maintenance on staircases and put new stain on the boards.
