We had a very nice stay at Gowel, cozy, well equipped with all you need, located in good area with easy access to attractions points and hiking areas.

Upon arrival the arrangements for cleaning had not been made. The beds were not made, the towels were not clean, the floors and counters were dirty. I contacted the owner and he gave me his apologies. The cleaner came the next day. On our first night we got into bed and the bed base fell! The very poorly, assembled, IKEA, bed is falling apart. When we looked underneath the mattress, it is obvious that they are aware that the bed is dodgy. There are zip ties all underneath to try keep it stable. Sadly, after trying to fix the bed it continued to drop there was nothing that could fix it. The cottage was very spacious and the kitchen was good. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately.
