The facility was clean, walking distance to the beach, the staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good. Overall, very pleasant. The Wi-Fi was sketchy and the television channels could be upgraded.

The rooms were not clean and the resort looks run down

Good location. Lovely beach next door. Good breakfast! Safe parking The room's decor is a bit dated. But clean and comfortable. Lovely view if sunset from room.

Location was perfect within driving distance to all stores shops mall and restaurants. The food breakfast only package was a 5 too repetitive and main chef was excellent but understaffed and need help.

The hotel was good for the price. The staff were friendly and we got an upgrade. The room came with a lot of toiletries which I liked. The beach next to the hotel is very beautiful and you can also use the facilities of the larger hotel next door. All in all a great stay.

Had a fabulous family vacation at Grafton. Spent a week at the hotel. Easy access to Waves restaurant and to the beach. The facility can do with some work. But the kids enjoyed it. Its good for a budgeted vacation. Did not have any food at the hotel. But heard the breakfast was excellent. Had complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms. The room was cleaned everyday so I appreciated it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

- Needs to be brought in the 21st century - breakfast was good; Top Chef James and server Wan and Mia was excellent. - The pools need to be cleaned regularly. - There was no microwave.

Lovely we will be back soon breakfast was very good every thing about there was good thank to everyone at the grafton beach resort

I woke up to the feeling of being bitten. When I turned on the lights I found ants in the bed with me. I turned on all the lights to find them on the desk also. I immediately called the front desk and was told I would have to wait until 5 or 6 am for housekeeping to arrives. I was never offered any other options. The housekeeping supervisor arrived with a can of raid. She started to spray and then stopped and said she will have room stripped down and sprayed. I spoke to MGMT and they only wanted the videos I recorded. I notified Orbitz of my displeasure.

The hotel service was good but the cable sucks not much channels, room was clean but a little outdated

while the management is nice and accommodating, there is constant construction going on at the hotel. Don't ruin your vacation by staying at a place where you have to wake up to the sound of Jackhammers in the morning!

This hotel have the adequate combination of price, comfortability and a wonderful location. The hotel have comfortable rooms and is being renovated, then in the near future will be best. The beach is very nice and the hotel have kayacs and other ammenities for enjoy the place. The food is good in the different restaurants.

The best thing about the hotel is the fact that the leather back turtles come on the shores across from the Grafton and lay their eggs. What an incredible and exciting experience!!! However you can stay anywhere else and simply drive to the beach and get the experience without enduring the Grafton. This hotel is in severe need of remodeling. The rooms are dated and reminds me of a motel from 1972. The rooms are ridiculously numbered and confusing...i.e. to get to room # 224 and higher, you must leave the floor with rooms that at numbered in the 200s and go downstairs or upstairs depending on if you are coming from the lobby. It is illogical...Same thing applies to certain room numbers that are in the high 300s. One would think that all rooms on the first floor would be numbered 100 but don't be surprised if you find rooms numbered in the 200s or 300s next to the 100s. How difficult is it to re-number the rooms and keep the 100s on the first floor, the 200s on the second floor and the 300s on the third floor. Are they that short on money? Yes they are and here is why: The hotel is a ghost town with our group occupying perhaps 8-10 rooms and there were other guests who occupied perhaps 3-5 other rooms. This low occupancy resulted in their restaurant being closed and you had to walk next door to their sister property (Le Grand) to have any meal. Imagine doing this in the pouring rain because their is no covered walkway...it was not fun. You are seriously discouraged from leaving the property to walk a few yards to the Sea Horse Inn Restaurant via the gate that leads to the beach in the back of the hotel. The Grafton has no restaurant and yet they want to hold you hostage...are they serious? The Le Grand (sister property) with the only opened restaurant serves "ok" food with very small portions...(I am referring to dinner). We had breakfast there one morning and was shocked at the lack of quality control with the foods that they put on the buffet. There were obvious furry, gray-green-black molds on some of the sliced fruit and some of the entrees would send hypertensive guests into a sodium coma. The staff was apologetic and offered concessions however we had already lost our appetite. The rooms are dreary, the bathrooms are gross with most of the tubs not draining properly. Some of our group members had to shower in calf high or ankle high water every day....GROSS!!!!!! The house keeping staff and most of the ladies at the front desk are very nice. Too bad they have to work there. Please stay anywhere else but here because the pictures on their website are deceptive and you will be very disappointed.

Check in was a joke! It took over 1 1/2 hours to check in. The hotel was basically empty because we arrived during the off season, the end of May/early June. We had booked 2 rooms; one with 2 double beds and the other with a king bed. We were surprised to have 2 separate employees asked if we wanted a king bed, we said yes both times. But we still ended up with the double beds in both rooms. We did not eat on site but did order drinks from the bar. We asked to check out an hour late because we had a dive scheduled that morning. Unlike the other hotels we have stayed in on different islands in the caribbean this trip, the staff would not allow this without a substantial fee. Again, the hotel was practically empty! This was disappointing especially since the week before our hotel in St. Lucia had no problems accommodating the same request. The rooms we comfortable and reasonably clean, remember its the caribbean. The beach was beautiful and pretty empty.

The Grafton Resort in Tobago has a beautiful view of the ocean, however, besides that, I can't really find much else nice to say. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. The hotel is not shabby, but definitely in need of some remodeling, front reception couches are old/faded, the bathrooms showed water damage on the ceiling, light rust rings in the tub, and water was brown when you first turned it on. We woke up one day and tried using the water, only to find it had shut off, no notice or explanation as to why. We came back one night to find a power outage, no flashlights or candles given to the guests, we just had to wait around for power to come back on (the only solace was one complimentary drink). the food there is pricey and mediocre at best, I would not suggest eating at the resort, definitely venture out, the Fish Pot down the street is great and better quality for your money! Customer service is not a high priority for this resort (or it's neighboring hotel - Le Grand Courlan-same owners as Grafton). Attendants at the resort were apathetic and lazy. Our AC went out the last night we were there. We notified the front desk and waited ~2hrs for the maintenance guy to not show up even after calling the front desk multiple times and them reassuring us someone was on the way to repair. Then we had to argue with the front desk to find us a new room to stay in which they were slow and hesitant to give us, no one helped us move our luggage into the new room and by that time it was 1am, and we were leaving at 4am to leave for home. I would never go back there or recommend it to anyone in the future. You can tell that there is horrible management/ownership of the resort.

this hotel is perfect for the family thats on a budget.$109.00 a night, cant beat that with a stick. its a good idea to purchase the food bands. the food here is expensive; or go right down the street and buy food for half price.

I think that we were the only people there. The problem with this was that no one informed us that because no one was staying there, they weren't using the kitchen/bar facilities at the Grafton. Instead they were directing everyone to the sister hotel next door. The hotel room was fine and the location was beautiful, but service and communication were lacking.
