Absolutely enjoyed our week long stay at gorgeous Peaceful Mountain Chalet! Everything you need is provided. The home is perfectly clean and so comfortable. The views are like a dream! The location is so peaceful and is just a short drive to Blackhawk casinos and Golden Canyon State Park. The host provides great communication. Highly recommend this chalet and host. Hope to visit again!

This is the most beautiful home ever. We saw turkeys and even a golden eagle in a tree. The property is quiet and peaceful. Clean and modern. We enjoyed our stay very much, we never got to have a fire because it wasn’t cold enough but would love to have had one. The outdoor deck is so amazing to have. The mountains are beautiful in the morning.

Graduation event

We came out ftom MN to celebrate our nephews graduation from high school. This property ended up be 10 mins from our families home. The property is as displayed. The beds were super comfortable. Appliances were updated and clean. No complaints from our family.The view was amazing. The garage was super convenient. It even fit our Yukon XL. The homeowners were very quick with responses and kind.

Mountain Heaven

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at the mountain Chalet in May. Pretty snow storms and great snow peaked mountain views from the deck! Very comfortable bed and bedding. Everything you need including a garage space. There was even nature trivia & food truck at the Very Nice brewery just up the road. Close to lots of hiking- we enjoyed Golden Gate Canyon and Eldorado state parks.

Beautiful View and Cozy House!

Quiet and comfortable stay in the mountains. Loved the feel of the house. Was upscale but also rustic. Highly recommend if you desire to be a little more secluded but very comfortable. Recommend picking up groceries in Evergreen if coming from Denver airport as there are not any grocery stores nearby.

The Perfect Place

The home was so comfortable and uncomplicated. An awesome place to unwind and get back to nature. We saw lots of wildlife and took many hikes. The views are unsurpassed. Even walking the road there were beautiful views. I can’t say enough about this home! It was just what the doctor ordered. The host was amazing and added extra touches. I will definitely be back next year 😊

Easy stay

Modern style home, meets the needs and is in a good location - quiet but not completely isolated. Advanced warning - all the linens are very white! We were careful to not track our hiking dust inside. A bit limited on kitchen supplies (5 big plates plus 4 small, a few bowls, one serving bowl, etc) but we were relieved there was coffee for brewing (thank you hosts!). Very nice deck but no shade, best for pre-afternoon or post-sunset relaxation.

Beautiful and peaceful retreat

Beautiful property up in the mountain with excellent views that’s only a 10 to 15 minute drive to downtown Blackhawk and to the Golden Gate State national park. Also only a 40 minute drive to Red Rock amphitheater. The host Rowdy answered a few questions quickly as we arrived earlier than anticipated, he let us check in an hour early and was accommodating with quick responses. Would highly recommend this peaceful property!

Great stay!

We absolutely loved staying here!! It was incredibly cozy even on cold nights. The owner was very quick to answer. It was a little dusty when we got there but honestly, not a big deal to us. We had our pup with us and they even had dog bowls and towels available downstairs for him. Definitely recommend an AWD vehicle for the road going into the neighborhood and the driveway. The view was truly BEAUTIFUL from everywhere. We would absolutely stay here again!

It was absolutely amazing. The Host had great communication, responded very fast and was overall awesome! The house was soooo pretty, so clean and had everything you need. The view was unbelievable from the deck and the beautiful windows. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Beautiful location

Beautiful as described. The altitude bothered us for a couple of days since we are flat-landers from an elevation of 700ft, but we adjusted (with the help of canned oxygen). Short drive to many amazing sights. Rowdy stayed in contact to make sure everything was going well, but without being intrusive.

Peaceful & Perfect

We loved our week in the mountains at the Chalet. The cool weather was a tremendous relief from the triple digit temperatures back home. The house was well stocked and exceeded our expectations in all regards. Lots of great hiking and sightseeing close by. We are already looking at dates for next year.

Lovely stay!

We spent the best month in Colorado, the house is absolutely perfect. Nestled in the woods and still a driving distance to Golden and Boulder. The house itself has all the amenities you would need, clean and well stocked. Rowdy was great to interact with, was understanding of our need to bring our cat with us. Which we really appreciated. Overall highly recommend!

Perfect mountain retreat, convenient, minutes from entertainment, food, and shops!

Beautiful views is an understatement. The mountain pine trees and aspens were just touched with snow and it was breathtaking. My wife and I traveled from Arkansas and my parents met us there from Texas. This place was 9 minutes from the casinos, but tucked still away in the Mountains. It was 35 minutes from summit county and 20 from Denver. Perfect central location to the places we wanted to explore. It was a perfect home, with privacy, and a luxury feel. The owners really thought of everything when providing this chalet. We enjoyed cooking, drinking coffee on the deck. Seeing the sunsets and sunrises from inside the warm home was my favorite. With my highest recommendation and I’d give it the rating of 10 stars! Stay here! You will love it!
