You won’t find a better location for touring East Kent than Sarre, and a stay at Chantry Cottage. This lovely modern cottage is in a peaceful, rural setting and yet just a short drive from …… well just about everywhere – Whitstable, Herne Bay, Westgate on Sea, Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Sandwich – so much choice. And after wonderful days out at these fabulous coastal towns you can return to the quiet, pretty setting of Chantry Park to relax and recharge your batteries. The medieval City of Canterbury is also a short drive and do visit the wonderful outlying villages of Ickham, Wickhambreaux and Wingham – all with pretty circular walks and excellent pubs. Chantry Cottage is a light, bright and spacious holiday home with the added bonus of parking for up to two cars. The open plan living space provides an excellent space for socialising, with sofas, Tv, dining table and chairs and well-equipped kitchen. French doors open onto the enclosed garden which backs onto fields. Upstairs is a small study area with desk and chair, perfect for some quiet time or to catch up on some work. Also on the ground floor are the three bedrooms, one with en-suite, and a family bathroom. Chantry Cottage is in the small village of Sarre which has a local pub, The Crown Inn which is one of the oldest pubs in Kent dating back to around 1500 and a short walk takes you to another village of St-Nicholas-at-Wade with two pubs, and a post office/general store.
