ENCHANTED CABIN with private beach access.
Modern woodsy Northwest cabin with private beach access for swimming and loading boats. Nestled in the pine trees and surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains it boasts a short walk to a private sandy beach for swimming, loading your boat, fishing and water sports. The comfortable great looking, fun cabin itself offers quiet privacy, a completely fenced in rear area for your dog or children, a great fire pit out front for roasting marshmallows or s'mores or simply gazing at the fire on Montana's chill summer nights and gazing at the stars or occasional full moon. You can also gaze at all from the comfort of the large front porch. In side the house you will enjoy the superfast WiFi and the 55" TV in the living area complete with Roku. For added convenience, there is also a 49" television in the Master Bredroom. The kitchen has all the modern amenities, electric flat top stove, refrigerator, microwave, two types of coffee makers, brewed and Keurig, practically all the pots and pans and cooking utensils you could need. I think the most wonderful thing about the house is that it is set in the midst of so much beauty and it's tranquility brings peace to the soul. It is also a wonderful place for your dog to run free if you have one because the oversized rear is completely fenced in yet filled with plant life and things dogs love to smell and explore. The cabin is the gateway to so many things: Echo Lake of course; it is also at the foot of the exquisite hiking area Jewel Basin; it is also at the gateway to Glacier National Park, the treasure of the continent; it is also in Bigfork, where one can find art galleries, sculptures, world renowned food, and a noted Bigfork Summer Playhouse. COME, HAVE A BLAST, EXPLORE. FIND YOUR PEACE. Disinfectants used to to keep the place sterile.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a sofa bed, a coffee maker, and a phone.
Note from host: Ok on porch. Be strict about lit butts. Clean up.

Do Not Reserve
Host wouldn’t communicate at all. We arrived at property that was run down, not like photos at all and tried to call as we were locked out. Host finally answered and said she sold property a year ago.

Nice location, very cool rustic Montana cabin
Loved the location and the deck. Well equipped and near beautiful Echo Lake and Bigfork. It is rustic and small but we anticipated that. Huge back and front yard for our dog. We didn't use the firepit because of fire risk in the area but it''s a fun firepit with some wood to get you started. Enjoyed sitting on the deck with the bug zapper although there were few mosquitos at all. The community beach is very nice but be aware that it is not dog friendly so we weren't able to use it much (our velcro dog). There are a lot of fun touches in the cabin but some might consider it a bit crowded. We didn't mind the fun personalized items. We were not aware when we initially booked that there was a non-refundable dog fee paid directly to the owner, something that should have been noted in the description of the property. The owner was very friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. The location is super... right near Jewel Basin, Flathead, Glacier, etc. Great Montana experience.

Quiet and pet friendly
We had 4 adults and 1 medium sized dog for a week. Linens were abundant. Owner was very communicative and helpful. There was a large fenced in back yard that our dog loved. Very quiet and private location. Large U-shaped driveway. We visited Glacier National Park each day and were about 45-60 minutes from the west entrance. Overall positive stay. Just note: one bed is a less comfortable, fold-out futon; there was more clutter in the kitchen than photos show; one kitchen drawer was broken. As previously noted, the shower is installed to either spray you in the face or just be used hand-held. Distance to the private beach/picnic area shown in pictures is about a half mile.

Dirty
I had to clean fridge myself before I would put anything in it, had to clean any dishes I would use as they were very dusty, shower was terrible because the pipe was upside down that held the shower head so it sprayed straight up. Couch blankets was covered in dog hair, had to fix TV in bedroom myself. Will not rent again. The extra cash money for covid was not fair after seeing how dirty it was.

Great getaway week!
We brought our two dogs with us for a week away from the world, and had a nice relaxing stay. The cabin is just a few minutes outside Big Fork, and has a big fenced back yard for the dogs to play. All necessary appliances in the kitchen, plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. Diane was welcoming and responsive. Great place to get away!

Great stay in the Kalispell area
This was a very well kept and resourced cabin with a number of advantages. It had most of the appliances necessary to make a stay go well along with an inside bathroom, capable of operating as a small house. Check in and check out were easy and the landlord was friendly and helpful. The location turned out to be flexible, which we needed. It is a 40-45 min drive to Glacier Park, but Kalispell is close for market needs and when smoke closed down most of the park, there was one of the few sandy beaches in the area close by with a private access, along with a state park on flathead lake, and a fire pit. We did pay a bit higher price than some other options, but if you have kids, pets, and/or want an inside bathroom this is one of the few and better options. We had a dog, and the place turned out to be excellent for anyone who want to bring a dog. We had all the supplies like dishes, towels, and paper products provided, which made things more comfortable. Overall it was a good base for what we needed.

Perfect Get Away
If you are looking for a quiet get away, yet close to many activities, this is the perfect cabin. Within an hour (and many activities as close as 20 minutes away), we were able to explore Glacier National Park, paddleboard the many lakes, and enjoy antiquing in the surrounding towns. Bigfork is an adorable town with great shops and fantastic restaurants. The property owner was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and points of interest.
In summary, we could not have had a better vacation. It was exactly what we hoped for when we decided to visit Bigfork. Activities during the day, great dinners a night, followed by a nice campfire back at the cabin.
