House 4 to 12 people, near the Ardèche Gorges, it is built of local stone (1896) and located in Can, charming village between Vallon Pont d'Arc and St. Martin d'Ardeche. Panoramic terrace of 25 m2, overlooking the vineyards, lavender and to Mont Ventoux.

Without vis-à-vis it is ideal for family holidays or friends. Calm and rest assured, you leave the house and you are in the fields of lavender, small bike path, bowling. Possible hikes from the house.
Not feel like cooking, the Pays de la Farigoule bistro 100 meters of the house will welcome you.

Spacious, it is divided into three parts
• Ground floor, kitchen with all mod cons, cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, teapot, toaster and all equipment necessary to treat a large number of guests.
• partly covered terrace equipped with benches, a large dining table, a round table, a gas grill, a griddle. Enjoy in breakfast to dinner and my guests say it is the "piece" the most enjoyable of the house. It is decorated with various plants and varied
• Large living room, fireplace, sofa, coffee table, large dining table, an old piece of furniture that contains Ardéchois dishes, table linens, TV.
• Library available many quality books, desk and internet access (WiFi)
• Large bathroom, large shower, washing machine, dryer, hair dryer.
• 1st floor 2 bedrooms - each with 1 double bed = 4 people
• 2nd floor: 1 Very large bedrooms 2 double beds = 2 or 4 people
     1 bedroom with two single beds = 2 persons

In South Ardèche, everyone can find the holiday that please him. You have a spirit of adventure: descent of the river canoeing-kayaking, mountain biking, horse trekking or hiking.
You are more focused on relaxation: enjoy the rhythm of the sun, swimming, walking, night farmers markets and outlets ... Be amazed by the wealth traveling from prehistoric to medieval times until today.
Many caves or landing (the replica of the cave Chauvet Pont d'Arc -Cavene, Madeleine, the Grotto of St Marcel, Aven Orgnac, Forest, museums (of lavender, silkworms) the crocodile farm will seduce you. This list is far from exhaustive.
Remember the markets of Provence villages of character which are numerous in the region.

Un super séjour chez Cathy

Nous avons loué le gîte de Cathy pour passer quelques jours entre ami(e)s autour du Réveillon dans un coin calme et nous avons passé un super moment ! Cathy est très accueillante et arrangeante, le gîte était confortable et cosy, bien situé dans un petit village facile d'accès et en même temps proche de quelques beaux coins du sud Ardèche pour faire des balades. Nous avons passés un superbe Nouvel An à Bidon, merci Cathy !

Wonderful house

I spent a really great time (4 days) in this interesting, old and comfortable house. Amazing point of interests nearby. And the host, Kathy, is very helpful for any questions. Bidon is super quiet. Absolutely a great place to stay even a long period.

Calme et Nature

Nous avons passé chez Kathy une semaine dans un environnement calme et accueillant. Chacun a pu trouver ce qu'il cherchait : promenades sur les chemins de randonnée au départ du village, baignades dans l'Ardèche, canoë, spéléo, les bonnes odeurs de la nature, le chant des cigales et le soleil. Bonne impression générale. Il conviendrait de prévoir 1 ventilateur dans les chambres (pour les nuits de grosses chaleurs, la température était excessive) Maison située à proximité de sites remarquables.
