Large lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 16-acre grounds (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden and 2 fenced lakes and a stream, 200 yards away.. This charmingly converted cider press sits peacefully within a small courtyard of barns in a beautiful rural location just 3½ miles from picturesque Clovelly. It is perfectly situated for exploring north Devon and Cornwall. Shared with other cottages, guests can enjoy 16 acres of private grounds which have been designated a Wildlife Site by Devon Wildlife Trust. There are many lovely coastal villages to explore including nearby Bucks Mills, Peppercombe, Hartland and Clovelly with its donkey transport. The delightful port town of Bideford has a good selection of town amenities, restaurants, a weekly market and boat trips to Lundy Island. Garden lovers will enjoy nearby RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill. Westward Ho!, just 12 miles and renowned for its beauty, has two miles of sandy beach known as the Golden Bay and is popular with surfers. Coastal and country walks, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding and cycling are all available close by. For family fun and days out, visit The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks.
