An authentic 19th-century Umbrian farmhouse, which has been sensitively converted into 5 apartments and can sleep up to 23 people. Set on a private estate and divided between 2 buildings, it makes a wonderful holiday base for friends or a family get-together.

The apartments are decorated in a contemporary yet traditional way, with terracotta tiled floors and wooden beamed ceilings. Each one has an open-plan living and dining room with a kitchenette. The kitchenettes are equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a Mokka coffee maker. The living areas have a sofa and TV, plus attractive wooden dining tables.

In Farmhouse 1, on the ground floor, there are 2 one-bedroom apartments. In Farmhouse 2, on the ground floor, there are 2 two-bedroom apartments. The first floor is accessed by an internal staircase. On the landing, there are two doors. The one on the left opens onto a large living room with a sofa, a kitchenette, a terrace and a bathroom. The one on the right leads to a twin bedroom from which there is access to a double bedroom and bathroom.

The outside space has been carefully tended with a protected, private swimming pool, children’s play area, sun loungers, BBQ and a kitchen garden where guests can harvest vegetables for cooking.

Sleeping
There are 6 bedrooms in total:

Bedroom 1: This bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a sofa single bed.
Bedroom 2: This bedroom is furnished with twin joinable single beds and a sofa double bed.
Bedroom 3: The bedroom can sleep 5 guests as it is furnished with 3 single beds and a sofa double bed.
Bedroom 4: The fourth bedroom has a double bed.
Bedroom 5: This bedroom features 2 single beds and a bunk bed.
Bedroom 6: The bedroom features a double bed and a sofa double bed.
Extra: There is a single sofa bed in the living room.

Bathrooms
There are 6 neatly tiled bathrooms. Each has a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Location
In the heart of Umbria, the house is close to both Perugia (25 minutes) and Assisi (20 minutes). The smaller town of Spello (20 minutes) is a charming destination and has many interesting Roman sites. The town of Montefalco (25 minutes) is famous for its fine red wines.

More active guests will enjoy Lake Trasimeno (40 minutes) where they can kayak and hire a speedboat. Visitors can go mountain biking or hiking along many different routes in the area. There is also horse riding nearby.

For self-catering, Spello’s weekly market takes place every Wednesday morning. Here you can find everything from food and flowers to clothes and handbags. Perugia also has a daily market (Monday to Saturday) in Piazza del Circo.

The closest airport is at Perugia a 20 minute drive away.
