Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, just a 22-minute drive from Sunday River and a quick 10-minute trip from Mt Abram, the Countryside Retreat is a classic Maine chalet. This beautiful three-bedroom, two-bathroom home offers an open floor plan with hardwood floors and a real wood-burning fireplace, perfect for cozying up after a day on the slopes or exploring the nearby Mt Abram bike park. The modern kitchen has everything you need for cooking and opens up to a comfortable living and dining area, great for both entertainment and relaxation.

To enjoy your next trip to this mountainside property, 4WD may be required during snowy months.

Linens, towels, pillows and bedding are provided. Personal toiletries such as bath soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste etc are not provided.

The host seemed welcoming and was generally very responsive. Everything was in order at the house, and the property was very nice. There was a bit of an unusual smell coming from the fridge, and despite offering some cleaning materials, I would’ve hoped for a bit more of an acknowledgment of the issue, as opposed to expressing that it’s not something that they’ve noticed before. Generally, a very good place though, and I would stay at this property again.
