Family Trip

Kathy was the best host! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The house was thoughtfully supplied and very clean. It was also in a great location with beautiful views. 10/10 recommend.

2025 Retirement Trip

The View!

Awesome place in a small community. The house faces the beach and the view from the deck is fantastic. It is stocked with cooking supplies so that all you need to bring is food and maybe some extra drinking water. The beds are very comfortable and I slept like a baby.

House Right on the Gulf - Amazing!

This is a real find. A house right on the beach in Johnson Bayou! We were always in text contact with the host if we needed anything. The view of the Gulf is from the balcony or inside. The town of Johnson Bayou is very quiet and safe. The interior of the house is unique and very clean and neat. I would love to come back and stay longer!

Amazing stay! The home is just precious and feels like home the moment you enter. We found the home to be so very comfortable, pristinely clean, and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Summertime Fun

The house was lovely, well equipped for every situation. The extras that are needed to enjoy the experience are at your fingertips. Crab trap, noodles, biggie boards, charcoal, liter fluid etc.. the beach is a low traffic sanctuary, plenty to do. Sunsets are breathtaking and i highly recommend the bang bang tacos from the local food truck. Oy a short drive across the river take the ferry for a $1

Amazing vacation

We had the absolute best time at this home. Messaging the owner was like texting family. Kathy was absolutely the best. The home was soooo clean, with a note and bottle of wine waiting for us. The beach, catching crabs, sitting in the hammock, collecting shells on the beach...could not ask for a better vacation. We will definitely be back.

Best rental ever!!

We had a wonderful time . This rental met all our expectations and then some ! House was very clean . Kathy was so easy to get hold of and she even left us a welcome bottle of wine ! Very sweet . Kitchen had everything possible that you would need to cook with ! Location was great !! . Right across the street from the beach . You can ride your side by side in that area along the beach also. People don’t hesitate to book this property. You will Love it !

We had a great stay. Morning walks on the beach. Coffee on the porch and hanging out under the house was all great. Awesome location and probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Looking forward to booking the same house for next years Go Topless. We give it a 50 out of 5 Rating !

Hidden Gem

Great place to spend time with kids and grandkids. Beach right across the road. The grandson wore poor old Grammy out on the beach for sure!The house is roomy, one of the most comfortable we have stayed in. Kathy has always been accommodating with flexible check in and out dates if available. Sometimes you just don’t want to leave!

Absolutely loved this secluded piece of heaven. Beautiful beach with stunning views and an Absolutely wonderful cottage. Cottage was very spacious and set up wonderfully for our family. With no need to leave, we enjoyed seeing the dolphins playing, shrimp boats, crab fishing and pole fishing (with great success), swimming and sea shell seeking. There are so many awesome sea shells along the coast there. Kathy had the home stocked and so comfortable for us. Praying we make it down from Michigan in the near future to enjoy this beautiful retreat again! Thank you Kathy for the memories!
