Creekside Chalet | Largest Hot Tub in Western UP

Pack your crew and your gear — ORV Trail 2 starts right outside the door, Powdermill Creek winds through the back 1.5 acres, and the largest hot tub in the western UP is already heated and waiting. Creekside Chalet is 2,800 sq ft of rustic-modern adventure base camp in Michigan's Upper Peninsula: vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, a stone gas fireplace, an outdoor fire pit, and enough beds for 15. Summer in the UP doesn't get better than this.
Creekside Chalet is a 2,800 sq ft chalet on 1.5 private wooded acres in Bessemer, right in the heart of Michigan's western Upper Peninsula. Built for groups who want real outdoor access and real indoor comfort — not one or the other.

THE GREAT ROOM
Vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, stone gas fireplace (with a second gas fireplace on the lower level), floor-to-ceiling windows looking straight into the woods. This is where the group lands after a long day on the trail or the creek. Big enough that 15 people don't feel on top of each other.

THE KITCHEN
Full kitchen, no shortcuts. Stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, all the cookware you need. Breakfast for a crew before a trail day or a real dinner after — it handles both.

THE HOT TUB ROOM
This is the one. Indoor swim spa seats 10, powerful jets, large windows with wooded views. It runs year-round and it is — by our best estimation — the largest hot tub in the western UP.* Post-ride, post-hike, post-creek: this is where everyone ends up.

OUTSIDE
Fire pit set up for late nights. Grill on the balcony off the great room for cookouts. Horseshoe pit in the yard — stakes are whatever you decide they are. Powdermill Creek is a short walk through the trees: cold water, trout, and a good reason to wander. Ride ORV Trail 2 right from the property.

SLEEPING — BEDS FOR 15
Bedroom 1: King
Bedroom 2: Queen + single
Bedroom 3: Queen + single
Bedroom 4: 3 singles
Loft: 4 singles via built-in ladder (the kids will fight over this one)
Lower level living room: full sofa bed for overflow

BATHROOMS — 2.5 BATHS
Main level: full bath with tub
Second floor: full bath with walk-in stall shower
Lower level: half bath

THE EXTRAS
Washer/dryer, seasonal window A/C units in the bedrooms and kitchen, fast WiFi, dedicated workspace, multiple smart TVs, all the basics. Dogs are welcome — additional pet fee applies.

*Fairly confident on the hot tub size. We haven't personally measured every hot tub in a 100-mile radius. But this thing is HUGE!
For entertainment, guests can enjoy TVs. Other amenities include kitchens, washing machines, and 2 bathrooms.

We had a wonderful stay at Creekside Chalet. The owners were very helpful, they were prompt when responding to our questions and they texted us during our stay to make sure things were going well. Our group of nine found the property very accommodating and spacious. The upper deck was perfect for morning coffee and the fire pit and swinging chairs were lovely. Firewood was even provided. The hot tub was well kept and plenty of towels were provided. If I am ever in the area again with a group, I will definitely stay there!
