TEASEL SHEPHERD'S HUT, near Berwick upon Tweed - sleeping 4 guests
For free-spirits with a passion for the great outdoors, toasty Teasel will add a quirky and characterful touch to your holiday experience.
With one king size bed (5’ x 6’ 3”) and full size single bunk beds (3’ x 6’ 3”), Teasel has been cleverly designed to maximise space during the day time, with the top bunk folding away to form a seating area.
The hut features a small galley kitchen area with an electric two ring hob, a microwave combination oven, under-counter fridge, toaster, kettle, and a DAB radio. There is also an extendable dining table for up to four guests. Just off the kitchen is a small bathroom with electric shower, basin and WC.
For the cooler months the hut is super-insulated and has electric tubular heating and an electric ‘real flame effect’ stove.
Two dogs are welcome. Horses are welcome with prior notice. There is grazing and stabling available on site at additional cost.
Teasel sits alongside three further huts, Cow Parsley, Foxglove and Berrington Beach Hut, each sleeping up to four guests which are ideal for guests who wish to holiday together. Foxglove is also adapted for guests who are mobility impaired.

OUTSIDE There is a picnic table and garden furniture, as well as a fire pit.
Teasel sits in a paddock with three further shepherd’s huts, Cow Parsley, Foxglove and The Beach Hut, each sleeping up to four guests. Please note, there is not designated enclosed space around each individual shepherd's hut.
No vehicle access is permitted in the paddock where the shepherd’s huts are located. Parking sits to the left of the farm entrance which is approximately 50 yards from the site entrance.
Dog Friendly Two dogs are welcome (£15 fee per dog). Dogs must be clean and dry before access into the hut and must be kept off the beds. An outside tap is available. The inner paddock where the hut is located is enclosed, but dogs should be kept on a lead around the livestock. Please note, there are three other huts in the paddock, and there is not enclosed designated space around each individual shepherd's hut. Long dog leads are available onsite to keep your pets close-by your own shepherd's hut. The owner has chickens onsite which do occasionally fly over into the paddock. It is highly recommended that dogs are supervised for this reason.
Important Information The paddock is shared with three other shepherd’s huts, Cow Parsley, Foxglove, and The Beach Hut, with a wide-open aspect across the adjoining field.

Slice of heaven with amazing views
The accommodation was exactly as described and wonderfully cozy and comfortable. A family of 3 we had plenty of room and found the beds comfortable and the amenities perfect. The host, Rachel, was extremely welcoming when we arrived and made sure to let us know where everything was and how it all worked. The location is wonderful with little light pollution and so the nights are amazingly starlit with the fire pit available for use if you wish. We would absolutely return

Perfect stay
This was our first time ever staying in a shepherd's hut, and what a hit it was! The hut was located perfectly on the farm's land, there were other huts but we had enough privacy from the other visitors when sitting outside our hut. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a very small problem with the drainage, but that was very quickly sorted out by the very friendly owners (which were also lovely to chat too and had such sweet dogs who sometimes came up to say hi). The location is also perfect to explore the region. We will definitely recommend this to other people!

Perfect long weekend away
Gorgeous hut, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Made very welcome by the owner who was really helpful and responsive. The hut is located in the grounds of a beautiful farm house, next to fields with horses and sheep for company. Very friendly farm dogs visited us now and again and the few huts were well placed for privacy but it didn’t feel too isolated either. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Quiet Getaway
A great location for exploring Northumberland. South Berrington Shepherds Huts are cozy, quirky and a great place to get away from it all. Owners friendly and welcoming and so are the dogs especially Scruffy! A great stay!

Fantastic mini-break!
We had a fab couple of nights at Teasel with our two boys. We were so well looked after and the accommodation was absolutely lovely and cosy. We will definitely be returning especially to see Scruffy the puppy again!!
