The host was very friendly and provided lots of information about the area. The room was clean. The house itself is a little unusual but the room is as pictured. The bed was very uncomfortable. More like a futon with very rough bedding. That said, the view was worth the less than ideal sleep. We stayed in several hotels with impressive views but this was by far the best and it was so quiet. You heard only birds and a nearby creek. Amazing.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Haus Wötzinger. It was located in a quaint village with breathtaking views and close to Neuschwanstein Castle and the Highline179. There were plenty of dining options in the town and Martina was an excellent host. This rated as one of the top places I have stayed in terms of cleanliness and I would definitely recommend if you find yourself near Berwang.

Incredible stay in a stunning mountain village

This stay is located in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Berwang is a magical place filled with stunning nature and lovely folks. This space comes with a fully equipped kitchen, large bedrooms, two full bathrooms and an amazing balcony. I can’t recommend it enough.

Excellent location, nice host

It was a good stay for my family. The rooms are well proportioned and the apartment was very clean, which is in a house with other apartments and so access was a little different. Also kitchen is a little small but have all the equipments. Host was super helpful as we reached late and she communicated well with us. Also she made arrangements for any issue we had and also helped up plan local trip. Wifi was very good as well. Would certainly go back for a longer stay

We absolutely LOVED this Home-Stay in Berwang. This was definitely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Our host was so kind and explained to us all we needed to know about the location. Our rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Everything we needed was in the room. We would highly recommend the Haus Wotzinger. We opened up our windows in the morning to the most beautiful scenery in the world. The town itself was delightful. We would recommend a longer stay. If we could, we would go back in a heartbeat. The lady at the front desk wrote out the WiFi info and we could not read it. There is no air con but fans were provided. The area seemed a little unsafe but nice restaurants nearby.

Great find!

Gorgeous, quiet, picturesque stay after a day visiting the popular German castles, the famous Zugspitze, and/or suspension bridge. Perfect for skiing as well. Full apartment. No restaurant on site, but several within a 10-15 minute walk or 2-5 minutes by car. Not all bedrooms have a tv. Good WiFi. Highly recommend!
