Wake up to the soothing sounds of native bush and waves crashing on the shore. Check the surf from your backyard, then stroll just 50 metres down a private track to Kirby’s, one of the area’s most popular surf beaches—perfect for a refreshing morning dip before breakfast. Life truly doesn’t get better than this!

This beach house blends old-world charm with modern comforts, framed by beautifully manicured lawns and gardens. Flooded with natural light, the interiors feature limewash floorboards, carefully curated cane, teak, and marble furniture, original Hawaiian and Broadhurst prints, natural textiles, and bespoke macramé and ceramic lighting. Designed for relaxation, this coastal retreat offers resort-style comfort with all the conveniences of home.

The property includes:
• Main house: Two bedrooms, two living areas with ocean views, formal dining and casual eating spaces, plus a 50m² protected veranda with an all-weather upholstered lounge, BBQ, and outdoor dining.
• Separate family studio for added privacy.
• One of only 20 properties in the area with direct beach access and ocean views.
• Three bathrooms plus an external shower and toilet.
• Modern amenities: A/C, ceiling fans, espresso & Nespresso machines, SodaStream, dishwasher, microwave, and a large fridge.
• Entertainment: Free Wi-Fi, three TVs, and spacious indoor and outdoor lounging areas.

With multiple nearby beaches, you’ll always find the perfect spot to surf, swim, or simply unwind. The lagoon on Berrara’s western side is ideal for relaxing, fishing, paddleboarding, or boating, while Swan Lake offers sailing, swimming, and cycling. Local food vans and a charming seaside café provide everything from coffee to delicious breakfasts and lunches, with hot pizzas just five minutes away.

Upon booking we require a security deposit plus credit card details. Once the property is inspected after your departure and no issues are found your security deposit will be released into your nominated bank account via BSB and Account Number and credit card details are destroyed within two weeks.

Good, even when the weather is bad!

Even though the weather was not great there was plenty to do. Caught fish at Swan Haven. Watching the surf from the lounge room was very enjoyable. A very comfortable house with a great patio area.

My sisters and I were looking for a getaway for just the three of us after a difficult family year. The house was in an absolutely fantastic position and the amenities were great. The house was extremely comfortable and well resourced with lots of separate living spaces. The bedrooms were lovely as was the sound of the sea.

perfect beachside location

We enjoyed 9 days at this quiet home, which really is right on the beach. It is low-key, no-frills, and very family friendly. It is not luxury, but is it really homely. There were lots of books, games and puzzles to enjoy. Our only negatives were that we found the queen bed in the main bedroom to be uncomfortably firm, and that the bathroom was very old. The location and ocean view more than made up for that however!

Pictures are deceptive, disappointing stay.

This house is much smaller than assumed by the photos. There is only 1 toilet & 1 (rather small) shower in the entire main house for all guests to share. The bathroom is also quite outdated & we had to supply our own air freshener & toilet cleaner (much needed if there's only one for all to share!). The kids' bedroom was really dusty & the air musty. I had to wipe down a layer of black dust off the trundle bed when I got there & the windows in that room were so dusty we couldn't even open the blinds to get any fresh light or air for that room. The external guest house was also very musty & smelled, with no blinds over the screen doors so quite unsuitable for anyone to stay in there. The living areas do have a nice view but definitely not worth the min. 5 night stay this place requires to book. Disappointed that we spent far more money than this place is worth & we didn't feel refreshed at all.
