Being a n IHG rewards member - I have gotten used to using the members check in on arrival to skip the queues. Standing waiting watching everyone else get checked in 1st before my existence is acknowledged is not part of the deal, or so I am led to believe. Finally when when checking in - which was a whirlwind experience, we were given our room key and told where the lift was. No explanation of meal times, asking if we wanted to book a table, letting us know you needed £1 for the lockers if you wanted to swim etc etc.... All in all the reception was pretty poor TBH, due to what I can only imagine was the number of people before us.... The (executive) room was as expected in layout and clean - although the tired looking bath / shower curtain could use some tlc. Service in the restaurant was good for the evening meal and the food was to a good standard. The bed was comfy but the limited choice of pillows was a let down, as those supplies were too soft. Breakfast, due the the number of guests, even after a morning swim, was a scrum. That said, the choice of food was good and the lady supervising the dining area was an absolute credit to the hotel. Her interaction with guests and staff was 1st class and nothing was too much trouble. With a late check out, which went without a hitch - I can honestly say this stay was below par when compared with other holidays inns I have used.

We stayed at this hotel as part of our visit to lego land. My partner and I were very impressed at how 'child friendly' it was. When we arrived our little boy received a colouring pack, competition voucher and complementary milk and cookies which he thought was great and also a leaving pack which included drinks and snacks for the journey home. The restaurant was good and as we ordered 2 adult meals the child's buffet was free. The food was lovely however a bit on the pricey side but we didn't mind so much as our child ate for free and it was well worth it. He had lots to choose from. We would definitely recommend staying here if your planning a visit to lego land!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a Legoland break. We absolutely loved the hotel. I agree with other reviews that it doesn't look much from the outside but the inside is lovely and the staff could not be more helpful. Maureen at breakfast in particular was amazing. The food was fantastic. We will definitely be returning!

This is the third time we have been to Legoland in the last 4 years and the third different hotel we have stayed in. Overall I have to say this has been the best one so far. Upon pulling into the car park I started to get a bit worried as the hotel looks a bit like a 70's office block. However, in this case looks are very deceiving as inside the hotel is very new and modern. Overall it was very clean, the room was spotless, the bar area very spacious, the restaurant food (breakfast) was excellent and all the staff very friendly and helpful. As I mentioned we were staying as part of a package with Legoland, which was about a 10-15 minute drive away, we also had a couple of evenings in Windsor which was lovely and that was about 20 minutes away. If we go to Legoland again we will definitely pick this hotel again.

Huge disappointment with the customer service of this hotel. I book Holiday Inns regularly for my colleagues whilst they are travelling with work, up until now I have never had any complaints but the customer service on this occasion has been unacceptable. I booked 2 rooms and prepaid them, the reason we booked this hotel was because my colleagues had an early start so needed to be near to the client they were visiting (10 mins in this case) and we have regularly used this hotel before. My first colleague arrived at about 9pm and had no problems with her room, my second colleague arrived at 11:30pm and when she arrived was told there was no room for her. There were a couple of people there having the same problem which leads me to believe that, even though you stated that it was an error with your booking system, you had in fact given the rooms away to other people due to their late arrival. The rooms I had booked were on the same booking number and had been prepaid, so how there was no problem with one room and no room for the other is ridiculous. Granted, you did manage to get my colleague a room in another hotel of the same standard, but after her having to wait around for half an hour, she was then picked up in a taxi to then drive half an hour away to the other hotel – which by this point was making it an incredibly late night before an early morning start – which then resulted in an even earlier start to come back the 30 mins plus the time it would have taken from the holiday inn. As a result of the stress of this situation on top of the pressure of a big meeting the next day – my colleague inevitably got no sleep. Your response of a 25% refund is quite frankly disgusting, either way it was your fault, we did not get what we had booked and paid for and I will certainly not be booking with yourselves in the future, I have had better customer service with Premier Inns!

Stayed here as part of a legoland 2 night deal. The staff were great and really welcomed the kids. Hotel is the usual for holiday inn, nice and spacious cafe/work area and lots of facilities. We used the swimming pool and that was brilliant for the kids. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and they messed up my order meaning I ate 15 minutes after my family. I asked for this removing for the bill and they were very apologetic and did without hesitation. Mistakes happen and that is just life it's how you deal with it and the staff here were great and professional. Breakfast options good and the kids eat free if adult buying a meal is a great idea. Nice buffet options for the kids. Would stay again. Slight gripe is that the room size for family of 4 is a bit on the small side if compared to say the Premier Inn.

Stayed here recently on a 2 night legoland package booked through legoland site. Has previous reviews state it doesnt look much from the outside but dont ket this put you off it is very clean , modern and bright . Check in Fast , efficient and the lady who dealt with checking us in explained everything to us and gave the kiddies activity pack and milk and cookie voucher to use later on before bed They asked my car reg and we put it into the computer so we were covered with parking No fines as yet but we have only just returned . Rooms we had a family room consisting of 2 double beds . The children are both boys so that wasnt a problem however the bed was alittle bit high for the 3 year old so i put a couple of pillows on the floor in case he fell out of bed .The room was clean and spacious , black out curtains with free toiletries and coffee and tea . it felt a bit warm in the room so we used the air con which was very good . plenty of nice fresh white towels . fab shower . Nice little fridge in the room which kept our picnic cool for the day at legoland the next day . Food Breakfast was included in the room rate and it was lovely ,selection of fruits , cereals , toast , jams etc and full english breakfast including hash browns and black pudding it was hot and replenished quickly The saturday morning was quiet but the sunday morning was very busy but the staff coped very well and turn around of clearing tables etc was quick We ate in the restruant on the friday night and had fish and chips . it was a bit expensive at £14.50 each but the kids eat free and the kids buffet was very good . there was a good selection on offer such as chicken gorgons , sausage, fish fingers , veg , chips and ice cream and muffin cakes . our grandchiodren loved in and ate everything they put onto their plate Found a pint of beer a tad expensive at £4.50 a pint . Pool / health centre Make sure you take your swimmimg gear with you . no towels needed as they provide. If you visit in the weekend they have kids splash hour 5pm -6pm friday and saturday the kids can go in before this time but between this time they have the inflatables in the pool which our boys enjoyed the pool was lovely and warm and wasnt too deep It was also very clean. The jacuzzi was red hot and so relaxing after walking around legoland all day changing room were clean but use the old type pound coins for the lockers . we just put our clothes in a bag and put them behind the sun lounger local area There is a garage just outside the hotel which is a greggs and spar we also found a little chippy across the road from the garage and down the road opposite think it was named ross road which was ok too . We never had chance to explore maidenhead but All in all we had a lovely stay here and would definately return and recommend to familys every member if staff we came into contact was friendly and helpful

If you want to waist money then stay here. Never recommend this hotel. Really unhelpful staff and unprofessional managers. This is not a place to stay. Worth staying in travelodge than this. Dont use them.

A very good hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. The breakfast was also very good and during our whole visit the staff was trying to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We used it as a base for Legoland trip and we will definitely stay again there.

Stayed for two nights to attend a wedding. The room was comfortable with an okay sized bathroom. For the price it would have been nice to see a bath that wasn't losing the chrome off of the bath taps and anew bath suite is definitely overdue. Another surprise was lack of USB or at least plugs for charging phones etc when I would guess it is used by a lot of business people. In general, a nice hotel that Julie st needs some modernising.
