"We had a fabulous 2 night stopover in Dr Holms between Bergen & Oslo. The staff are a credit to the hotel especially Julia on reception who was really helpful & Karin (i think thats the spelling) who worked in the restaurant. She was so friendly & knowledgeable about places for us to see on our stopover.
The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had, there was a great choice for everyone in our party & the kitchen staff were accommodating of any requests. I was on the 2nd floor & my room was lovely, with amazing views of the mountains. We loved the quirkyness of the hotel & there was lots of nooks & crannies for us to explore. It was warm & sunny during our stay & it was great to have the balcony on the first floor to sit out on to enjoy it.
The only minor disappointments were that both Jacuzzis were out of commission during our stay. Some more vegetarian options in the sports bar & diner would have been welcomed too but other than that, we wouldn't hesitate to return
