The mill is the perfect rural environment to enjoy its peaceful surroundings and to recharge. It takes you back to another time with its original architecture from the 1800's.The location on the outskirts of Bergerac is ideal as a base to plan multiple day trips. We visited the Lascaux IV caves, Chateau Beynac, Chareau Monbazillac, Le Bugue, Saint Émilion wineries, Bordeaux and more.Our hosts Marc and Danielle were very welcoming and made several recommendations to make our visit to the Perigord unforgettable.

Spent two wonderful weeks in the mill. A perfect location for exploring the Dordogne region. The mill had everything that we needed and was in a beautiful private location, ideal for relaxing. The proprietors Marc and Danielle were very welcoming and more than helpful. They are wonderful hosts. We couldn't fault anything and would commend them and recommend a stay in the Moulin. One little hidden gem is a manmade lake with a beach just on the outskirts of Bergerac. Ask the proprietors about it (and other numerous attractions in the general area).

Large holiday home

This is a great holiday home for a family that is looking for peace and quiet. The property is located on a large estate without neighbours in sight. We had a great stay playing football in the garden and paddling in the river next to the house. When we arrived at the house we were welcomed by the owners that showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. They are super friendly and made sure that our stay was enjoyable. (also nice to note that they are both fluent in French and English) I certainly recommend this as a good choice to spend your holiday in peace and being a few minutes away from the town Bergerac.

Les points positifs :- plutôt beau et grand domaine, sans vis à vis,- disponibilités et l'hôtes agréables,Les points d'améliorations :- forte présence de moustiques (normal en présence de la rivière) l'hôte met à disposition des produits,- parquet vétuste avec dénivelé très bruyant notamment pour aller aux toilettes la nuit,- volets non occultant sans présence de rideaux, ils faut donc prévoir des masques yeux,- il n'y avait pas internet comme indiqué dans l'annonce

Nous remercions les propriétaires de leur chaleureux accueil et de leur grande disponibilité. Le site est magnifique dans un espace naturel, calme et préservé (faune et flore). Les sites touristiques sont accessibles en voiture très rapidement. La maison est propre, spacieuse avec tout le confort pour passer de très bonnes vacances en famille.

Superbes Vacances dans un endroit magique

Nous avons passé de superbes Vacances en famille dans cet ancien moulin. L’endroit est magnifique, original et atypique. Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse remarquable, disponibles et serviables. Bergerac est une ville charmante, à deux pas du moulin, et les alentours sublimes (châteaux, grottes, villages classés, baignade, pêche sur la Dordogne…) Nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu le temps de tout visiter, aussi reviendrons-nous rapidement. À très bientôt au moulin !

Sehr nette Vermieter, jederzeit anrufbar. Das große Grundstück bietet Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe. Das Haus ist mit allen Elektrogeräten ausgestattet und die Räume bleiben auch im Sommer schön kühl. Die Gegend bietet leider keinerlei Fahrradwege, Bei der Reservierung über abritel wurde zunächst ein veralteter falscher Mietpreis genannt.

Bel endroit, départ en forme d'expulsion !

L'endroit est vraiment magnifique. Le gros regret est notre accrochage avec les propriétaires qui ont débarqué à 3 le samedi matin dès 9h30 pour faire le ménage. Si vous y allez, précisez bien que la location court jusqu'à 11h vous laissant ainsi le temps de faire vos bagages et de bien nettoyer sans avoir le sentiment de vous faire expulser !

Très mitigé et globalement décevant.

Dans un beau parc arboré, ce gite aurait pu être idéal. La maison étant ancienne, il aurait fallu apprécier le parquet bruyant, les portes des chambres qui ne ferment pas, l'électricité et l'eau chaude difficiles à gérer, l'absence de poisson dans le cours d'eau. Et cerise sur le gâteau, un propriétaire très exigeant et suspicieux, voire intrusif, pour ne pas dire plus... En résumé, nous aurions pu passer de bonnes vacances...

Excellent sejour. Comme je l ai dit au propriétaire les photos ne rendent pas justice à la beauté des lieux. Endroit tres calme bien que proche de tout commerce. Le vrai plus c est la pèche sur place si comme nous vous aimez vraiment ça ....carpe de 38 cm, rotangles, gardons, ablettes et même un petit sandre....cet endroit est vraiment etonnant !!! Propriétaires charmants et vraiment dévoués...bref la semaine a filé à toute allure et donne vraiment envie d y retourner

Lovely stay in a beautiful house and grounds

We had a lovely week staying in this lovely house with its gorgeous and large grounds just outside Bergerac. We had our dog with us and this was the perfect location, without leaving the property there are extensive interesting and beautiful walks along the river and mill race. The house is lovely, full of character and very interesting being the old mill itself. The owners were extremely and very friendly and this added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Très bon accueil des propriétaires qui nous ont bien conseillé sur les centres d'intérêts locaux, et ont su être à notre écoute. le domaine et la maison sont parfaitement tenues par les propriétaires. Nous avons pu visiter la région avec notre chienne de 7 mois les animaux sont les bienvenus en Dordogne.( restaurants, châteaux, baignade ect ) Le seul petit bémol, les plus beaux sites ( Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac, Beynac et les rivières sont accessibles entre 30 et 1 heure de voiture . Vacances enrichissantes et reposantes.

Leuk karakteristiek huis met riante tuin!

Karakteristiek huis en rustieke ligging. Prachtige ruime tuin, waar altijd wel schaduwplekken te vinden zijn met warm weer. Afhankelijk van de stroming en waterstand, kun je heerlijk afkoelen in het water bij de dam. Vooral de enorme ruimte rond het huis vonden we erg fijn. De eigenaar woont aan de andere kant van Bergerac. Hij en zijn vrouw zijn erg behulpzaam, als je vragen hebt staan ze direct voor je klaar. A beautiful home in a wonderful setting.

The mill is everything you want for a quiet, peaceful retreat. Lovely in its own simplicity the building and grounds are well kept and a pleasure to live in. Access to the local amenities and areas of interest is easy and within a few miles. The owners are very friendly and have a huge knowledge of the area. We had a tranquil and most enjoyable stay.
