Property is very close to the airport. They have pool, foosball, and shuffleboard available to play in the lobby area and an excellent breakfast.
Please note: I have posted many reviews for hotels but this is the worst I have written till date and I do not intend to take advantage of having a pen in my hand. Here’s how the events transpired that night and I honestly admit my mistake at the time of booking. We booked two family rooms (4 adults) each with a queen bed and two bunk beds, included morning breakfast, and airport shuttle with a surcharge. The mistake we made was that for one of the rooms instead of 2 guests we marked one guest at the time of booking. We arrived quite late to check-in close to midnight due to train delay. Nicolaj, front desk staff, asked us to pay 200KR ($25) for the extra guest. We told him that we were willing to pay the difference of $6 in the rooms since we will be checking out in less than 6hrs to catch a 7am flight. He could not provide the policy for the amount he came up with and was insinuating saying “this is Norway and the rules are different.” When we asked to speak to his manager his response was, “sorry I can’t wake him up!” After another 15 minutes of back and forth, he agreed to give us the room for no extra charge telling us we will not be welcomed back again. To top it, he misguided us to the back elevators instead of the front to the room and had to we figure our way back going around for another 10mins. Our rooms had twin bed instead of queen but was reasonably comfortable. We left at 5:45am by taxi since he said there was no airport shuttle.
Was supposed to include breakfast buffet in reservation price, but were told upon arrival that breakfast wasn't included and would cost more. Check-in was fairly easy.
Very professional staff capable of supporting business use. Bar and Restaurant very flexible. Beds are small but very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices and fresh.

Dear, Jay. Thank you for your feedback. It is correct that we charge 200 NOK for an extra person in the room. This is to cover the cost of breakfast and linen. The fact that you only wanted to pay less is not something that you can decide, when the price is set. The receptionist only did his job, when it came to asking for the extra charge for the extra person. I have talked to the receptionist and he have a very different version then the one you describe. He did not misguide you and felt really sorry that you would think that he did. Anyway, I am sorry that we could not meet your expectations. Regards,

Dear, Jennifer. Thank you for your feedback. It is much appreciated. All of our bookings include breakfast, so it was strange that you were told for it. Regards, FOM
