Convenient location within walking distance from train and bus station, cafes, restaurants, and Old Town. Lovely room with a big bathroom and a great shower. The breakfast is very good with a lot of varieties. Like other great hotels in Milan, this hotel offers a snack case with salads, sandwiches and drinks just in case. Very convenient gated parking for €10 per night. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and they speak English. Good value for the money. Bergamo is close to Alps and Lake Como. Tip: Buy a 3 day bus pass for €7 euros and you can use buses and funiculars as well as return to the airport.

Very nice hotel for a great price. Breakfast was great and had a ton of selection. The hotel has good location...both the train station and the funicular to Citta'alta are a short walk away. If you are driving the hotel has a neighboring parking garage. Hotel staff was very friendly and spoke good English.

We were booked into a nearby hotel that let us down but fortunatly moved us into NH Bergamo. On my next trip to Bergamo i will go straight to NH. Central clean efficient and excellent value for money.

The location is perfect...we walked a short 5-6 minutes from the train station to arrive at modern clean hotel. Our rooms was very comfortable and spacious. Another 15 minute walk took us to the Citta Alta and its funicular. The walks both from the train station and to the funicular were very pleasant. Breakfast was included.

I chose this hotel on account of its great reviews and I was not disappointed. I arrived early by train and was promptly checked in. I requested a no smoking / no pet room due to allergies and was upgraded without charge to a junior suite on the 7.floor with its own private terrace with a lovely view of the old city. The room was very nice with a big bathroom and a great shower. The room was well appointed with a queen size bed, tee/coffee maker, flat screen TV and a fridge/minibar. After a 3 day stay in Venice in a very basic room, I felt that I landed in the lap of luxury. All hotel employees were professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel offers breakfast only, with a huge choice of hot and cold items, fruits, breads, cheeses, eggs and lunchmeat, and an excellent coffee bar service. It is absolutely the best I had in many years of travelling in Europe. The hotel also offers a snack case ( at the reception area ) with salads, sandwiches and drinks, I think that's a great idea, especially if checking in late and too tired to go out to eat. The hotel location is great, just a short 5 min. walk from the rail / bus stations and its close to the high city, I had no trouble walking to most of the attractions. There is just a bit of confusion to locate the entrance of the hotel. The entrance is 1 floor below street level, you have to walk down a ramp and it may be a bit of a problem especially with luggage. It is no problem if you arrive by car and park at the below street level garage. NH is a Spanish chain with great service , I can highly recommend this property and I will look for the NH brand on my next trip to Europe.

Booked this hotel since it was in a good location to explore Bergamo. The hotel was super clean, the staff were really friendly, tons of restaurants nearby and the perfect location for what we wanted. The room was really comfy, we slept well - almost missing breakfast one morning! If you're driving, getting to the reception can be kind of tricky as it's below street level and you can't drive down there...you can kind of pull in your car next to a pay parking lot, check in and they'll direct you to hotel parking behind the hotel (gated at €10/night). Would definitely stay again - it's a short walk to the train station and only 10-15 minutes to the funiculore to citta alta.

This hotel is extremely handy for the airport - literally 10 mins walk away. It's also good in terms of cleanliness, customer service and a very extensive breakfast. Obviously, being literally right next to an 8 lane highway, it's not going to be one of the quietest places in the world. I'd definitely stay here again if I need to fly out early the next morning from Bergamo. Yes, you can decide to stay in the town of Bergamo but you have the hassle of transport from the town to the airport. It's not far - probably about 7km but traffic looked awful on the morning I was there so was a good decision to stay at this place.

We flew into Bergamo airport and took the bus into the city. We spent one week inthe NH Bergamo Hotel which was within walking distance from the train and bus station. The breakfast was included and there was a great selection of food to suite everyone taste. The position of the hotel was on a quiet side street. A supermarket was right next door and restaurants and cafes are everywhere. Bergamo's old town was stunning and worth a visit. The shopping area was all within walking distance. With the hotel being so close to the bus and train station it was wasy to get to visit the different city's we wanted to see. The hotel rooms were cleaned every day and the beds were comfortable and there was a small sitting area outside.

I am leaving this review a little late, we stayed at this hotel in march 2017, we had an amazing time here stayed for 4 nights, excellent links to the airport and also various other destinations from the local train station which is 5-10 minutes walk from this hotel. The hotel is slightly hidden out of the way from the main street and rooms are very quiet, some rooms at the backside of the hotel get an excellent view of the old town (Citta Alta) up on the hill. Excellent night sleep here the beds where very comfortable, and the hotel is very modern, however it does not have a resturant onsite however there are many local resurants within the area so you will not be stuck for choice. (this may have changed since our visit) The hotel does however server breakfast, which is highly recommended, breakfast buffet with lots of choice. I would highly recommend this hotel and would have no hestitation on returning to this hotel if back in the area in the future. staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

This hotel isn´t bad. The decor is average (and a bit boring) and the breakfast pretty okay. The location is great. If I were to stay in Bergamo again I might spend a little extra and sleep somewhere else.
