You can move to a slower pace if you want, or work comfortably from home. Discover the best kept secret in the entire Bay Area. Expect beautiful sunny days, 75-85 September - October. Wake up to sweeping water views and birdsong, work remotely overlooking the Bay, spend the afternoon by the heated pool, and end the day watching the sunset from the hot tub.

A Home Made for Longer Stays

The house is especially well suited for remote workers, families, creatives, and extended stays. We have 8+ dedicated workstations throughout the property, lightning-fast Wi-Fi, and can provide large external monitors upon request.

When the workday is over, you’re already on vacation.

The home features three bedrooms with king-size beds, multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to relax or work, beautiful Bay views, a piano, landscaped gardens, outdoor lounging areas, a heated swimming pool, and a hot tub with spa jets.

There are plenty of pool floats too — including our giant inflatable unicorn.

Your Own Backyard Retreat

One of our favorite parts of the property is the garden. Guests are welcome to enjoy what’s growing during their stay.

Depending on the season, you may find fresh tomatoes, multiple varieties of basil and oregano, cilantro, thyme, rosemary, Thai chiles, habaneros, sweet and bell peppers, Japanese eggplant, cucumbers, blackberries, prickly pear and more.

The property also has fig, orange, lemon and olive trees, along with roses and Mediterranean-inspired landscaping.

Make dinner with herbs picked minutes earlier, eat outside, and watch the colors change over the water.

Explore Benicia

Benicia feels worlds away from the pace of San Francisco while still keeping you connected to the entire Bay Area.

Walk about 15 minutes in one direction and you’ll find trails and nature near the hills behind the house. Head the other way and you can explore Benicia State Recreation Area, with beautiful flat paths that are perfect for walking, running, and biking along the waterfront.

Benicia also has its own small beach, waterfront parks, windsurfing, marinas, and historic First Street — lined with locally owned restaurants, cafés, wine bars, boutiques, antique shops, and galleries.

On Thursdays, stroll through the downtown farmers market and bring something fresh home for dinner.

And when you feel like exploring farther, Napa Wine Country is an easy day trip, while San Francisco is close enough for dinner, museums, shopping, or a day in the city.

Getting Around

San Francisco Ferry: One of our favorite ways to reach the city is via the Vallejo ferry terminal, approximately a 10-minute drive from the house. Leave the car behind and cruise across the Bay directly into San Francisco.

BART: Guests flying into SFO or Oakland can take BART toward the North Concord/Martinez area and complete the final portion of the trip by car or rideshare.

By Car: The house is conveniently positioned for exploring Napa, Sonoma, San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, Walnut Creek and the surrounding Bay Area.

We’ll also provide a detailed local guide with our favorite restaurants, wineries, activities, day trips, house information, and recommendations for experiencing Benicia like a local.
