It was one of the best hotel which i had visited, very decent behaviour of staff, food was very delicious and hygenic, would love to visit the hotel again and again. The staff was there in the hotel was awesome,other hotel staff needs to learn how to treat the guest in any of the manners..

I had opted for this hotel for my kid's birthday dinner party here last month and we were very happy with the tasty vegetarian food and the service offered by the staff during the entire time at the party. Happy to have selected this venue, instead of the few other nearby places I inquired for the party

Funny - when i started writing my review for my 2017 December trip, the review I had written for my 2011 December trip popped up and what a difference 6 years has made. The experience I had was a total 180 from when I last stayed here (when I was single, vs now with a wife and 14 month old baby boy) Here's my current experience: CHECK-IN: First, they got my name wrong the whole time despite me correcting them. Also my booking was done via booking.com which clearly stated that I have a non-smoking only room preference. Yet they assigned me a smoking room which had a horrible stench the moment we walked in. Its clear that the check-in desk staff did not take any time to think our reservation through. We had our 14 month old baby son with us - why on earth would be want a smoking room? Absolutely no thought given to the situation. What's worse was we were never even asked if we wanted a smoking room. The stench in the room was so bad that we had to ask to be switched to a non-smoking room later in the evening. Its only because of the fact that we were so tired from our long 19 hour flight did we not demand a change earlier. Again, these are things that the check-in staff should notice. Absolutely no detail paid. Horrible. SERVICE: Everytime we called about something to be fixed, it took the staff at least 20-25 minutes to respond. The worst was when we had requested the room change to a non-smoking room, NO ONE CAME TO HELP US OUT WITH OUR BAGS DESPITE MY CALLING SEVERAL TIMES!!!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! QUALITY: when I stayed here back in 2009 and 2011, the service and quality of the rooms were far far better. We even stayed at the Jaipur royal orchid. not only was there an odd smell to the non-smoking rooms, there were many issues with the quality of the room which clearly indicated that the upkeep and maintenance was just not done. The bathroom especially stunk. No matter how many times it was cleaned there was always a stench that came out, within an hour of cleaning (and not used!). The panel on the flush in the toilet fell off (in the smoking room). The corners of windows was dirty and the glass on the windows seemed like it was never cleaned - this is a major issue, b/c we had a little toddler who was touching everything and we had to constantly be behind him to ensure he wasnt touching the dirty windows. CABLE: We had so many issues with the cable! Not only did it not work in the bedroom TV, the staff who came to fix it did not know how to do it, repeatedly showed up late, and lied about what the reason could be why it wasnt working ("the subscription had run out", or some nonsense like that). CLEANING: When we had requested a cleaning of the non-smoking room (it was clear that it hadnt been cleaned after we moved into it the previous night), one of the staff grumbled about it and then when he did show up, he only cleaned the bathroom and bedroom! He didnt run any mop in the rooms at all. During another cleaning by another staff member, we noticed that he didnt mop the kitchen floor and he told us that the kitchen floor was only mopped once every 2 weeks, because it ruined the floor - what nonsense!!! (some nepali or guy from the northeast). When we asked another staff member about this, he said that that was not true and it should be mopped everyday. Also cleaining of the kitchen did not involve replacement of cups with clean cups - we had to wash cups ourselves. I can understand washing cups yourself for repeated use, but they should at least be replaced everyday. LINENS: there was always hair in the velcro straps. its clear these were not washed wall. WIFI: internet always kept giving us problems, so much so that the usage for a 3rd device that we had requested was given complimentary. It was horrible - you should expand usage to at least 5 devices. that's the norm in other hotels. We had to call the IT guy everyday to just get login - and it kept changing everyday! You can imagine how this got to be very annoying. ONSITE RESTAURANT - while the food was unremarkable, the service was atrocious and horrible. repeatedly, for breakfast, we noticed that NO ONE EVER WELCOMED US WHEN WE ENTERED AND EVER ASKED US IF WE WANT TEA/COFFEE OR OMELETS OR OFFERED US DOSAS!!! it was like we were pariahs...and we had our baby son too!!! we would notice that many other parties would get attention from the staff (especially the lady from the northeast - she never paid us attention), but we were never tended to. we always had to ask for things. We noticed that everyone else was being asked if they wanted dosas, tea/coffee, omelets etc, but not us. only the last day we found out that there were even 2 types of teas (ginger and masala). when we asked for tea, we were always only brought the masala tea. everytime i asked for omelet at the omelet bar, it took 15-20 min to get mine. My order was always after others. This was so bad that the last day at breakfast, we had to scold the staff as to why they were not welcoming us like they do others. Horrible! OVERALL STAY: very poor. When I first was here in 2009 and then in 2011, the quality and service was very good (see my earlier review). So much so that we chose this place again in 2017 expecting the same kind of service and quality. The morning of the Dec 20th, we had actually originally booked at Evoma hotel in KR puram. But that was an even more horrible hotel and so we had to hastily change hotels. Without even a 2nd thought, we picked Royal orchid, expecting that we would have the great stay that we had previously had, and that it was a safe, affordable choice. Obviously this was a big mistake. Your service and quality has really gone down the drain. I know that the GM had met with us upon us insisting to meet the manager, but I dont know what kind of instructions he gave to the staff, b/c the service after that remained the same - horrible. It was almost like we were discriminated against for having a baby with us (especially in the restaurant). You need to spend some significant funds to update and really clean the hell out of the rooms. Window sills should NOT be dirty and the glass on the windows should be always cleaned. Bathrooms should never stink. Your employees should also not lie or give nonsense answers about cleaning. Your internet should be working properly. You have a lot of improvement to do. I dont think I will ever stay here again. do you know that my son was not able to adjust to Bangalore and we actually had to end up going back to the US after only 3 days!!! If the hotel stay had been better, we would have stayed longer.

I have patronised apartment hotels in Dubai and Kuwait. I was therefore skeptical about Royal Orchid Suites in Bangalore. But it was at a convenient location and close to my business activities in Whitefield. When I checked in I was taken aback by the green campus, as well as the rooms. It had a living room, kitchenette with a dining table and a work table for laptops and a phone. The bedroom was elegant and shower was adequate. A small balcony was attached to the bedroom with a couple of chairs to enjoy the view. The restaurant was also adequate with delicious food. Overall a 5 star experience and at par with international suites.

Friendly,very supportive and cooperative staff.Their breakfast was awesome especially they had variety of foods.Room was an average and value for money.Very easy to access to all the near by malls and restaurants.

It's really Happy Staying @ Royal Orchid Suite. Good ambience in overall hotel. Very Nice location thanks to reception staff ,special thanks to Pratibha she welcomed us with smiley face , restaurant is good,thanks to House keeping staff Good value for money planning to visit again

Stayed 2 weeks and I felt that, all staffs are very approachable, helping. Very good hospitality. Same menu for dinner everyday, and most of the day we couldn't find a delicious rice item. We were having only roti+any chicken item. In Restaurant staff, Lidya was always ready to attend us and serve food. She was excellent.

A big thanks to the team of The hotel, we came from New Zealand for the family. special thanks to front office team. They are doing their job in a good way. They directed us to all the places which we wanted to visit. Special thanks to Ramesh guru Chandan Vinay and pratibha.... They welcomed us with smiley face. Always helpful kind of people. Got lot of information of the places of Bangalore... Planing to come back here next year. Good value for the money which were spent. Restaurant is also good. .. Once again thanks to the team.

I came to India from srilanka with the family to visit the places in Bangalore.... with the help of front office staff my stay was awesome. They gave me the directions for all the places in Bangalore. And helped me in booking the taxi also. It's been a good stay over here. And I would like thank all the staffs of reception and service people. Special thanks to Guru pratibha chandan Ramesh.. and service boy Francis . I'm coming back to stay in this hotel only in my next visit to India.
