We loved our stay here. The house has been updated and is very nice. The layout with the sunroom, upstairs loft and kids nook all added to the charm. The house is well situated near Fort Rock Park with quick bike trail access and is only a few miles from Sharc and the Village Mall. We’d definitely stay here again. We really like the uniqueness of the house. we didn't like that there wasn't AC.especially upstairs. we did all the things they said to try to keep it cool but it was still pretty warm. Especially when it was smoky and we couldn't open the windows which is frequent in August now. opening the windows was a nightmare because the screens don't fit and left huge gasps so lots of motha and mosquitoes came in which was very frustrating. Shower curtain is moldy. Furniture quite stained. Not sure extra blankets were washed. No extra pillow cases for extra pillows. Love Sharc passes.check out instructions varied between book and text message so a bit confusing. Hope we did okay.

The house is really nice, clean, and in a great location for easy biking to the village and SHARC. It was a perfect size for our small family of 4 and our kids loved it. We arrived on a 95 degree day and despite no A/C, the house was plenty cool enough. We appreciated the house being stocked with games and toys, bikes, etc though I would note that there is indeed a basketball in the shed. I did ask that before we came and they told us there were none so we packed one which would've been nice to leave behind. There is also a soccer ball. So the property managers didn't seem to know all the things available, but that's my only small complaint.

Sun River Stay - and skiing at Mount Bachelor

A few family members stayed in this property in connection with a couple of mid-week days to ski at Mount Bachelor. The place worked well for us. We made dinner one night at the unit - and easily traveled to Bend for dinner two other nights. It was also an easy trip to Mount Bachelor ski are from the unit. The area where the unit sits is lovely - and the communication with the property management went smoothly. This booking worked out well for us.

This is a great little place. It’s clean and happy. It is time to clean the heat vents and behind the dryer and dryer vent. We lubed all the squeaky doors while we were there. Have a great winter!
