Modern updates mixed with quintessential Sunriver charm await in this (1700+/- sq. ft.) 2 bedroom + lofted bunk room cabin, aka The Cozy Bear Den.

Centrally located in Sunriver, on a peaceful corner lot and a short stroll away from Fort Rock Park, this dog-friendly, hot tub-equipped cabin has everything you need to fuel Central Oregon memories & adventures.

The lava rock fireplace, with its upgraded wood-burning insert, stretches to the vaulted ceiling, while floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound deck offer views of ponderosa pines and abundant wildlife. The dining areas mid-century modern table seats eight, while overflow diners or kitchen conversationalists can sit at counter stools overlooking the well-equipped kitchen, with its stainless steel appliances and gas range.

Bedroom #1, located on the main floor, features a King bed and private front deck access. Upstairs, bedroom #2 provides a King-sized bed and offers nightly star-viewing through vaulted ceiling windows. The large, lofted space of the bunk room features a Full bunkbed + twin trundle, and a TV area with beanbags for movie-viewing or Nintendo NES video game play.

The adjacent garage is equipped to make the most of our Central Oregon playground, with a bike & snow workbench (with tools!) and a 4-pair boot warmer.

Bikes: There are 10 bikes at this home. However, we do recommend bringing your own bikes whenever possible as bikes are not guaranteed, subject to change w/out notice and subject to downtime. Should you arrive and a bike is in need of repair, please notify our office and we will make every attempt to have it repaired.

In addition, we do provide discounts for bike rentals at a few of our local shops.

This house was perfect for me and my family! It is clean, well organized, stocked with much than most rentals. The location was absolutely perfect, very easy to get anywhere in Sunriver. The beds were so comfortable! We had so much fun staying here, and will rent this house again next time we are in Sunriver!

Cozy place to stay

The cabin was just right for our family’s long weekend stay. Sunriver treated us to all different types of weather from rain to snow to sunshine. We enjoyed the hot tub and making a fire which was very easy to do with all the supplies provided. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. We walked our dog to Fort Rock Park everyday to play with other pups. Thanks for a great time.

Cozy Bear Den

Great home close to Fort Rock. Wonderful sized kitchen with a lot of cooking options ( lots of crock pots!). The space was perfect to gather, play games, cook together, hang out in the hot tub, or even take a quiet retreat away for a few. One of the better homes we have visited in SunRiver. We will be back! ( read the binder, full of helpful info and the humor is appreciated!)

Family trip to SunRiver,

The house worked out well for four adults and 215-year-olds. However, the temperature while we were there in SunRiver, was 100° and number of days the house inside did not have air conditioning so the temperature was 85° in the house. At times we went to the car to start it up and set the air conditioning. The screen door in the front needs to be repaired. It doesn’t close properly. Everything else seems to be in order.
