A wonderful stay at a stunning property! The views are to die for and the house full of traditional charm, we loved it! Dinners on the terrace were a highlight - the kitchen, although small was well equipped. We loved Bellano as it was very well connected by train and ferry but nice and quiet after experiencing the busier towns on the lake. If you’re not hiring a car the walk to Bellano is a little tricky walking along the road but we managed it easily enough everyday by being cautious (never in the dark though). Only real negative was the shower curtain in the blue bathroom was mouldy and needed to be changed. Thank you for a great stay!

Great House, grounds need to be cleaned up

This is a terrific house located between Bellano and Varenna. The kitchen, while small, was well appointed, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, the indoor living space was gracious, and the outdoor living space was amazing. Having said all that, the gardens need a major clean-up. They are overgrown and made it hard to get to the lake.
