We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and had plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained. The game room was especially fun and perfect for all ages. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast, lunches, and dinners. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish, which made our stay even better. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

The house has so much space. The set up was perfect. Very well maintained, gorgeous outdoor space and walkable to downtown. Stayed here for our annual girls trip. It was the perfect house. Very clean, lots of space and for those who wanted to go to bed early still space from the entertainment area. 10 out of 10.

Best Vacation

The river house was so much fun! Perfect size for our large family of 13. We rented a pontoon boat for a two days and had a blast on Torch Lake! We would love to come here again some day

Great Family Vacation

Grandparents (us) treated our kids and grandkids to week in Northern Michigan. We loved the house and the charming village of Bellaire. We even got a hearty welcome from the gentleman across the street. The house was comfortable for our group of 11 and had everything we needed. The grandkids loved the kayaks and all of us enjoyed strolling to downtown Bellaire. This is a great rental with everything accurately described and is highly recommended.

Family Holiday

Our extended family stayed here for a week and had a great time! Close to Shuss/Shanty Creek and Boyne and close to town. When we were in the house there was a lot to keep the kids busy. Great experience, highly recommended!

Perfect getaway

Had a group of 8-10 guys for a bachelor party. We spent most of our days out on the water. However, this house was more than enough space for all of us. Plenty of places to sleep, great kitchen, nice deck. Only a 10 min walk to downtown Bellaire. Perfect location.

Fabulous property for a multi family get away.

We had the best time! The house is located in a great neighborhood that is quiet and peaceful. The best part of the house is the layout and the game area on the lower level. The kids loved it and the adults really enjoyed the kitchen and living area. We would definitely stay again. BB

Guys trip

Great house, plenty of room for everyone. Within about a 5 minute walk of Short's Brewery or downtown Bellaire. Will definitely be looking to come back next year.

Great spot for a week long trip with family

House was great and clean. Plenty of space for two families. The game room came in handy on the rainy days. The outside areas needed attention (grill, yard, fire pit). That was the only downside. Walking distance into Bellaire, and short drives to many MI destinations. Would definitely book for large group again.

1970’s quad level in Bellaire

House had adequate room for 8 adults. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Exterior and yard is in need of general maintenance. Interior needs some updating other than paint. For a home listed as room for 17, only two showers is inadequate. Property manager is extremely poor. Upon arrival, I phoned the contact person provided with a question about the entry code and my voice message was never replied to.

Beautiful home and great location

A lovely home that can accommodate a large group. Walking distance to downtown. Lots to do on the property! My only complaints is that trash from, I'm assuming the prior guests, was left in the garage which had a strong odor that went into the house whenever the garage door was opened. Also, the refrigerator was not keeping any items cold, causing us to throw away a lot of food.

Awesome weekend and great location!

We had a decent size group and were able to easily walk to downtown (breweries etc) and the pontoon rental location was less than a block away. Very close to some great golf courses as well.

Great Location

Lots of room for a large family, there are over 50 steps to get to the water and fire pit in case you have elders with you. Nice to have Kayaks and life jackets. Great location.

Great for a family getaway

This location was wonderful. Beautiful property, great communication with manager. The home was clean and well stocked . We have a large family and sometimes have difficulty finding a space that will accommodate us, this was perfect. We will definitely visit again .

Summer Fun with family

Very comfortable rental home. Main level when you walk in contains kitchen, dining room, and living room with a walkout to the upper deck. Walk up 6 or 7 steps to main bedroom with king bed and private full bath. Across the hall is bedroom with 2 Queen beds and across the hall from that bedroom is another full bath. From main level, walk down 8-10 steps to 3 bedrooms and 1/2 bath. One bedroom has Queen bed with twin bunk beds. Next bedroom has 4 twin beds (two bunk beds) and leads to third bedroom with Queen lower bunk and twin upper bunk. All bedrooms have their own air conditioning control which makes a summer stay very comfortable. Plus there are ceiling fans everywhere. Note: 3rd bedroom on lower level with Queen/twin bunk does not have its own AC but we had a fan to help cool that bedroom with help from the AC in the double bunk bed room. Another walk down 6-8 steps brings you to the Game room with pool table and foosball tables. Laundry room is also on this lower level. Access to lower deck and stairway down to the river (37 steps - we counted). Lots of kayaks available for paddling along the river. Head north and you’ll see the dam and won’t be able to go further but head south and that will take you to Lake Bellaire (about 1 mile) - easier paddle down to Lake Bellaire than coming back. We were a family of 10 and were very comfortable. My parents are in their 70s so the low toilets and few stairs were a little difficult for them. This house could use a third full bath - especially since it sleeps up to 17. We highly recommend this property. The town of Bellaire is very nice. Both Short’s Brewing and Toonies (Wed night rib special) are very good. I also recommend picking up some steaks and/or fish to grill out from Bellaire Smokehouse. Or pick up some smoked fish. Another recommendation is to head North on 88 to Kings Orchard and fill up on sweet cherries. Keep going north on 88 to 31 North and stop at Eastport Market for their fried chicken - yum! If you want to find fossilized coral - head to Rex Beach on Lake Michigan. Cleaning crew was very helpful as well. Thank you, Tonya.

Family Celebration

We had 14 family members staying on the property to celebrate our parents anniversary, birthdays & father's day. There was plenty of room for everyone and many gathering spaces. We were comfortable. Extra pillows and bedding were available in the linen closets. There are many stairs in the house and down to the river. The deck railing and stairs need some attention to keep it safe.
